  2. That's just a screen grab and EASILY doctored. Post all 1.7 million links or you are LYING, the lowest thing a man can do.
  3. Which one do you want? 1,690,000 results to choose from.
  4. Never say never. There will be some necessity type defences if you're saving a black man from being lynched or something. Less so with woolly worries of wrongs/torts.

    Jokes???

A dwarf was drinking in a bar when a sexy blonde walked up to him and said "I’ve always wanted to have sex with a little person" The dwarf replied, "I’m sorry, but I’ve had women say that before then I go home with them and the husband or boyfriend finds out and I get beaten up" "It's ok" said the woman, "my husband is working away until next week" So, against his better judgement he goes back with the woman. They start having amazing sex when suddenly the front door opens. "it’s my husband!!" she said. "Quick, hang out of the bedroom window and when he goes for a shower, you can climb in and get away" So the dwarf climbs out of the window and hangs on the ledge by his fingertips. The husband comes into the bedroom and says "It’s cold in here" slams the window shut and the dwarf plummets to the ground. The woman is distraught and calls an ambulance. A couple of days later she goes to visit the dwarf in the hospital. "How are you," she asked. "Well, my fingers are broken, I’ve got two broken ankles, a dislocated hip and severe concussion," he said. "Oh dear," she said. "Still, it could have been much worse", "Much worse!?" said the dwarf. "How do you figure that out?". "Well," she said, "you’re lucky that I live in a bungalow".
  6. Today
  7. Found this little beauty, I know there was some discussion on here earlier about modified hammers but there is too much metal in the axe head to be drawn out from a hammer head. My builder suggested a firemans axe?
  8. Yeah Steve-In-Pee, you have NO PROOF that Trump is wholly unsuitable to be the most powerful man on the planet again.
  9. I know my dad got his from the Gurkha’s has he was part of a hand over group that were handing over their duties to the Gurkas.
  10. Excuse my lack of knowledge here, but how come everyone seems to have a Kukri? I've got one, two actually, that I inherited from my grandfather. I never talked to him about them though, so didn't hear the history. Were they handed out to everyone in the Services as a matter of course?
  11. Poplar is a hardwood, but I know what you mean, its at the softer end 😀
  12. Did you check black/white oil pump and that everything is consistent? Just try regular more expensive bar oil as an experiment (after cleaning and flushing everything out) you are wasting money on replacement worm gears anyway, plus the lack of oil won't be good for your bar nose sprocket.
  13. You must have tied into some absolute nothingness on your various tip expeditions. Ever bundled regrowth together?
  14. To be fair the original post was a bit of a ramble with two questions. It doesn't matter anyway, because the OP seems to have vanished anyway. Checking the land registry would be an obvious first step.
  15. It won't rot and die because of the inclusion. The inclusion may split open in the future, leaving a fraction of the tree and a gaping wound that will never heal over.
  16. Aoother arbtalk thread where no-one answers the question put by the OP. No, you can't cut down the tree on adjacent land. Not lawfully in any circumstances unless with the owner's permission. You could cut back roots and branches to the boundary. You may be able to mitigate or eliminate the adverse effects of the tree on your soils in various ways that do not involve removing the tree.
  17. "Americans for Limited Government" - not something I know about but a quick search looks like they have a very active legal department removing anything negative from the internet.... and you have to wonder why they are hiding so much. I say that because all political groups have negative press - it is a part of the process, opposing opinions are important for political discussion - and these do not - which is unusual... so either everyone love them or their lawyers love them.
  18. I'd bet if I looked you'd find something very similar for Trump too.
  19. Beer bottle opening is certainly a good use of the notch, believe it had several uses including what you mentioned plus a drip point and a marker for the end point of the sharpening edge. i also inherited my dads kukri from his military days in the 60’s it is still in very good condition even with my brother and I playing with it during the 70’s, it was the 70’s after all😀
  20. I imagine that was more intended to mean that you should only bring out your weapon when you absolutely have to use it, and not just wave it around willy-nilly, rather than every time you draw your blade you have to ice someone. As in try negotiations, discussion, diplomacy, etc. before resorting to the nuclear option.
  21. My dad said the small blunt one was for cleaning animal skins on his issue one, and the notches near the handle for opening bottles. I wonder what happened to it after he died.
  22. Morning all, Day off today, out to lunch with my sister. Had the heating on last night, crazy climate. Have good weekend.
