  1. Past hour
  2. i have a Stihl 2 in one sharpener. of late the price for the files just keeps going up. The files are peculiar to stihl, so i am stuck, not being able to shop around. Radmore and Tucker say that , you get about 8 sharpenings to the chain. This is getting pricey. The flat box file is stupidly pricey. i am now considering an electric sharpener. i am hoping that i do not get conned into buying a chinese knock off. afterall sharpening, is a precision operation. yet with this stihl cutomer services talk out of thier backside, resulting in wasting your time. Oregon, on the other hand, are quite helpful, so i am looking into getting one of thier sharpeners. i have a Stihl 120 battery saw. with a 1/4' pico chain. Oregon sharpeners are presently ticking the boxes for me. Yet having one of thiers could be time-consuming, getting to learn how to get it down to an art. The discs are a separate issue. maintaining/dressing the disc. Then changing the discs to address the rakers. Then the chain has to be cleaned before sharpening takes place, the thing is. dealers do not know anything. the onus is on the user

  4. A picture of some. Other saws to add are husqvarnas 357xp 346xp 61 345and another Echo. Picture is of modified 362xp to a 372xp.
  5. I’ll get you a box of Kleenex or some Tampax whichever suits best . https://www.linkedin.com/posts/ugcPost-7352712532798689280-GuvQ?utm_medium=ios_app&rcm=ACoAADB-kJ0BWrJUW5tVr2sxqvep_SKvMEUK9bk&utm_source=screenshot_social_share&utm_campaign=copy_link
  6. That's enough wine for the rest of the year nearly!
  7. Anyway ended up getting €2380 for that waste wood that they chipped up. Which is nice.
  8. I'll have a word with myself then, tell myself what I am doing. However despite the number of attacking posts, I am not the headliner here, a kind of irrelevance what me, any employers, employees or anyone else does.
  9. keep the woodchipper running then, eh.
  10. MS90F a thing of beauty, you got some interesting stuff there, I haven't found anything yet with a nordfeller fitted, I have used a 20t jack on the odd occasion, but that weighs more than the saw.
  11. My MS90F from 1959, and clock from 1970 with picture of a 162se
  12. 254FG from the eighties, and my 42 special , plus very early chain spinner.
  13. Nasty tweets “31 months”, illegal BS Asylum seeker sexual assault “suspended sentence “ Is this the shit we want in the UK paid for by hardworking taxpayers 🤷‍♂️
  14. I wonder if his employer knows how much time he spends online during his so called working day ?? . Maybe there’s another reason for his lack of openness.
  15. Nobody knows what he's been up to, but you've spent all of it thinking about him that's for sure.
  16. If one side has definative proof of ownership, its no longer a dispute, just a stubbon neighbour that wont accept the fact and perhaps never will. The addition of a proper fence, wall or whatever would reinforce that fact and put an end to any future adverse possesion claim. If the wall or fence becomes intentionally damaged, you can do a small claims against them. Its easier to replace fence or wall than a tree. Worst that can happen is he blocks them from doing the work or commits criminal damage to the new fence after it goes up.
  17. This one’s brilliant too!
  18. Wow that’s a cracker. A Great Grey Owl?
  19. A subtle one - and slightly sinister. I didn’t notice it at the time. Look immediately below the boy’s left foot.
  20. Was only talking to arb kit supplier I use the other day about all round protection, and I asked if anyone made trousers like the old SIP ones which had protection at the back but only below knee. He said no. They were great.
  21. Class 1 = 20m/s which is the approximate chain speed of the saws you mention, so why would HSE/Insurance have anything to say?
  22. Yes. I was referring to trespass. But yes. Tough situation. And probably on the wrong forum. I can see why the op posted on here, but really it's a legal boundary issue.
