  5. So The Rapist has moved the military into Washington DC (or is about to anyway) - because he doesn't like to see the homeless on the streets between his office and the golf course. I should reference his influences here in the other 'great' world dictators - not least Stalin and Hitler who started by 'cleansing' the homeless off the streets.

    Announcement.

It's not because I said Greenmech chippers are shit is it?
  7. Sany have got some horrendous adverts running atm. They were doing quite well I thought, positioning themselves as an increasingly credible bridge between established western brands and high end Chinese. And then just flushed a few years of work down the toilet for a couple of cheap videos narrated by a synthesised woman talking about the 21 tonne digger on the screen (actually 2.1 tonnes). Wrote themselves off to me for another decade INSTANTLY.
  8. Good luck Pete!
  9. Good fortune for the future Pete.
  10. Always been a pleasure having you around Pete. I look forward to seeing what role you move into!
  11. Today
  12. Members of this group! It is with a heavy heart and a huge amount of sadness that I can confirm that I recently resigned from GreenMech after 27 years and a previous 5 years as an owner! I have yet to organise a new position but can only hope that it is as fulfilling as associating with you bunch! I wish you all good health and happiness going forwards and heartfelt thanks to my colleagues over the years and to you folks as supporters of the brand! I have many, many good friends among you and many memories of good times and bad, triumph and tragedy, wins and losses, stories and tales. I'll continue to post on here and ask that you post too! The community is not limited to owners but interested parties, not limited to sales posts but to humour, information and help in any measure! Best wishes to you all and cheers to a fulfilling future! Oh, and buy what I'm selling next please,😏
  13. That's appalling. Whole sentence is crap. If I didn't know who Husky were, I'd shut the window for being tingtong. I weep when I see things like that. They've been making stuff since 1689. All that brand goodwill, teetering on the edge of worthlessness for a moment's laziness/crassness.
  14. Christ here we are again running the saw with no bar and chain, I strongly advise you do not do that, on the over run they can, and will spin off, once away from the drum you have two shoes one spring and a spider flying through the air at speed. Yes clean the bar delivery holes, next you need to remove the clutch and check the oil pump gear behind, then remove the oil pick up pipe and filter and clean, has this been running with bio oil?
  15. too much indian bolswick in the oil pump? is it your saw, or one you saw in somebodies shed and decided to claim it as they haven't used it for a while.
  16. Husqvarna are calling it a blade.... Worlds gone mad, maybe they got AI to write the page?
  17. DCS9010 always came with 28" solid nose bar, although I bought secondhand and it was knackered already so never used it. In my mind solid nose used to be more common, maybe sprocket noses weren't as reliable on higher power saws?
  18. Good luck with that one, looking at the photo.

  20. watch out for Avants i have a 2017 Avant 520 1700 hrs when i brought it, i paid just over £8k plus VAT no attachments and no, it wasn't stolen
  21. Morning all, Feeling tired after yesterday’s efforts in the heat, but job went well. Hedges today.
  22. The obvious is to clean out the bar groove and oil inlet hole . Start the without bar and chain . see if any oil comes out of the out let . Careful how you rev the saw , don't want the clutch spinning off if its a thread on one . The hard to start when hot could be low compression . the 135 is not a pro saw so maybe not worth spending too much money on it .

  24. Morning all . Up late after going to Fratton Park to watch the blues loose 2--1 to Reading in a cup match . To be fair we did not put out a full strength side but then nor did they . They were just better . One of our new signings on the left wing was shit .
