  1. Past hour
  2. I watched all of that. He's a pure grifter. There is nothing sincere in his delivery.
  3. I used one briefly and yes it zipped up almost like a ported saw but I thought it felt a bit flimsy for a bigish saw . Yours I take it is holding up ok ?
  4. Yep. Really happy with it.
  5. Turns out the terrorist was on a rape charge too, suprised the site rape expert missed that one, but then again 🤔
  6. Do you have a 500i ?
  7. I know .... Its Rob Wolf the game keeper on the shoot next to me . 🙂
  8. A wealth of Knowledge, very interesting. I am near Ashdown Forest, of which there is a lot of heathland, it is interesting what grows and survives in those conditions. Seperately, I recently cleared a couple of old fields that were absolutely rammed with bramble, where I removed the bramble there is now a whole load of bracken shoots coming up, haven't had bracken in there for a long time. Will be interesting to see what else happens. Will probably keep it cleared as I don't need it to turn into woodland, there are over 40 acres on the same site and that all needs managing.
  9. Evening, ive got a lovely old sachs 114 , starts first time sounds lovely ,chainsaw runs and cuts like a dream... however carb won't tick over i have to keep it running on the trigger, its not the end of the world, but I csnt seem to get an adjustment setting that changes it.been advised to try and source a replacement carb( unlikely? , was wondering is it worth trying a gasket kit etc? Any ideas?
  10. There have been two fatal far-right terrorist attacks in the UK in recent years, versus how many ?? . Attacks June 2016: Thomas Mair murdered Labour MP Jo Cox in West Yorkshire. The far-right extremist shot and stabbed the MP, shouting "Britain First" during the attack. June 2017: Darren Osborne deliberately drove a van into a crowd of Muslim worshippers near Finsbury Park Mosque in North London, killing one man and injuring twelve others.
  11. Today
  12. NBC in 2011, Trump said: "In my opinion I hear the Democrats are going to be blamed and the Republicans are going to be blamed. I actually think the President would be blamed. If there is a shutdown I think it would be a tremendously negative mark on the president of the United States. He's the one who has to get people together."
  13. the green party have the right idea - get everyone so wasted they are incapable of stabbing anyone Green leader Zack Polanski backs legalisation of all drugs WWW.BBC.COM Zack Polanski speaks to BBC South East on the party's new approach ahead of the party's conference.
  14. Unless of course the police are wrong and two people on an arb forum know better. How’s the answer to Mr Bolams question coming along “ Steven”.
  15. wow - it's your lucky day - some guys have written a whole 50 page booklet 'weed control in Christmas tree plantations'. Merry Christmas https://cdn.forestresearch.gov.uk/2022/04/fcfb015.pdf
  16. I'm using a Sequoia harness with 2 bridges and I want to fit a connection ring on each one. The bridge that came on the harness is a size 'M' (45cm), about 10 or 11mm thick so I just added another one the same to match it as it seemed fine when I climbed on it. Petzl connection rings come in size S (28mm internal diameter) or L (46mm internal diameter), but I can't find it stated anywhere which size ring would be best to use on those bridges. By my reckoning the small ring ought to be big enough to accomodate the thickness of the bridge itself plus the thickness of a karabiner with a few mm to spare, so is that the one to go for? Or am I missing other potential uses for which I'd need the extra internal diameter of the bigger ring(s)?
  17. what's wrong with glyphosate around saplings and small trees if you use something to control drift?
  18. *Puts on helmet to prepare for the inevitable collision with a brick wall* Firstly, the customer does not get an option wether to pay for aerial rescue provision/someone to rig for you. Climbing solo is generally frowned upon, and frankly you've nowhere near the experience to be messing about like that. You've stated that you have no comprehension of the strength of the ropes needed and the forces involved. This is a fairly considerable part of what your rigging course will teach you, if you listen. In the meanwhile, the candidate curriculum for the rigging course is freely available on the City & Guilds website. Download it and take a look. The Technical Guide for Rigging and Dismantling operations (TG3) is available as either an E-book or hard copy from the Arb Association website. This includes the up to date industry best practice and is largely what the Rigging course is based upon.
  19. Part of an ongoing woodland job recoppicing some old mainly hornbeam hedgerow stocks. This section has quite a deep and wide (thankfully dry) ditch behind it, backing onto a cultivated field. Some leaners will pull, some won’t. Anything sent into the ditch won’t pull out because it will prong into the bank. WQ and a handy oak tree and voila! Crane-tastic! IMG_1714.mov
  20. Not a terrorist, just a murderer.
  21. If you follow this forum, all reported acts of terrorism, all reported crimes are from a very narrow demographic, and are pretty much all reported by JohnsonD. Have to question why this bias is if it isn't one based on a racist view of the world, when in reality all races and religions have murderers and arseholes.. just we never get to read about them on this arb forum.
  22. Ok, can somebody please explain something to me. How is this a terrorist attack? Which terrorist group did he belong to? Who is their leader? What is their aim/ideology? What other terrorist attacks has this terrorist group carried out?
  23. Well in the past, you have form for doing the opposite to what has been suggested. Its all good though, some people prefer to learn from their own experiences. Others (me included) preferred to learn from others who have been there, done that and got the badge and T-shirt. Hence finding someone who could act as a mentor is a great idea. where about’s in the country are you based?
  24. I know of what you speak, it was shameful.
  25. What about smoke flares attached to ankles and Go-Pros? Dinosaur.
