Yeah and that’s something I appreciate but they’re a Mecalac dealer so expected a more prompt fix. Yeah it’s the machine for us - tbh it’s the perfect arb machine. Thanks for the input!

It's a famous Mae West line Davey, nothing to do with you.

To be fair, the mecalac hitch is very very specific to mecalac! now I know what machine it is I would persevere if it’s the right machine for what you need.

Hi, I'm 23 and desperately trying to find a way into the industry. I've put myself through my CS30 and CS31 and looking to gain my CS38 and CS39. I was wondering if there were any trainee positions going anywhere, I've called a couple places up but have not had any luck so far. I would also be interested in doing some groundswork work purely for the experience. Thanks!

Hi Adw, I have cleaned the saw before stripping it down. I am an agricultural engineer by trade so I know how important cleanliness is . Thankyou for your further thoughts . I will check this out and update. Regards, Med -
The last L65 machines were built in the Tomas factory in Yugoslavia of which I have a brand new one.

Can’t remember the last time I saw one that clean, so with that out of the way, do we have contact between the crankcase and the fuel tank? or is there something trapped between crankcase and tank?

Hi Haironyourchest, That was my very first thought. And although the chain is 50 % down there is no teeth missing. Regards, Med -

Are you sure it's not your chain? Missing a tooth or something? -

Guys, Finally got the saw to bits and as you can see from the attachments the crankshaft bearing races are intact on both sides. The crankshaft rotates smoothly. I have also removed the exhaust and inspected both piston/ring and cylinder. I can see no issues in there either. The drive clutch and needle support bearing are in good order also. The sugihara bar sprocket tip is free to rotate. Not sure why I am getting this vibration in the cut ? The deflector limiter bush is worn and I will replace when I order parts to rebuild. But I cannot reason why this would cause the saw to have a vibration whilst cutting.... Your thoughts please... Thanks in advance for the assistance -

I was asked to chop up a lime stump, around 36" DBH. It fell in December. The roots were powder and significantly sized logs weighed nothing. The owners were unaware of its ill health until it fell in a storm. My opinion is to remove.
