  2. Nice work and a nice office! In places that looks very Devon style, your welsh styles tend to be higher and thicker than the Devon. In devon on a bank, the hedge is laid to enhance the bank, the bank being the main stock proof part.
  3. 👍 Made a huge difference to my Worky Quad. Let us know how you get on.
  4. Tobroco giant, got a new set of boots. Fed up with getting no traction from grass tyres so got new rims with agri tread.
  5. Zac, sent you a PM.

  7. Brilliant! I bet those planes are filling up with thrilled Brit tourists as I type! Such a boon to all those spur of the moment globe trotters. Seriously I bet Keir just swoons at the idea of communism ,the Prospect of eliminating political rivals and selling their organs like the Chinese do must have him fizzing
  8. We do however buy a ton of stuff from China, we can ignore them or talk to them - internet reckons nearly 8% of our trade is with China, compared to just over 9% with the US. Even Trump has been known to pop over to China to talk to them.
  9. Please help shape the revision of BS3998. The following link takes about 10 mins to complete. We want to hear from as many professionals as possible

  13. If the e-clip is not bang on the right size, it might seem to fit ok but not actually do the job properly. Or is the groove on the end of the crank a bit damaged (unlikely)?
  14. How about the biggest embassy building ever in the world amen X 10 right on top of our communication cables ?
  15. Sounds like the e-clip goblin has been 😃 Seriously though are you sure you are pressing it home completely ?
  16. Hi there, I wonder if anyone could help me please? I’ve got a CS261 which is about 12 years old, but has had very little use. I fired it up last month and used it for about 30 minutes. As I use it so infrequently I usually remove the chain and oil soak it and clean the remainder. When I removed the cover I was surprised to find the e-clip missing. The washer, sprocket and drive dog were still there. I had a spare e-clip so replaced it and used the saw again. The same thing happened again. I suppose the cover stops the sprocket from coming off! Then I changed the e-clip and washer this time. The same thing happened again. Has anyone had this happen to them? Thank you in advance.

    Devon style

I feel your pain! I've sharpened my way through a brand new chain in a day. This stretch under the oaks had 4 fences in various states of decay and an almighty amount of blackthorn tangled up in it all. Those brash piles are pretty much all blackthorn from that 30m, tried to retain and lay all the hazel. It's a bit thin under the two oaks. Not in Devon but west Wales, not really sure of the finer details of the Carmarthenshire style but this is what I'm up to.
  18. No mention of our concessions for this amazing deal
  19. Hi everyone, I am a foliage wholesaler and grower based south east uk looking for new suppliers or people with land who would let me harvest from. The varieties I sell depend on seasons and some seasons are much busier volume wise than others. Ideally with spring coming up and in prep for wedding season in the summer I'm looking for things like Birch, Hornbeam, guelder rose, dog rose, whitebeam, beech, rowan, privet, etc I can also sell things like rhododendron, gaultheria and other invasive species in the winter/spring, aswell as at Christmas large amounts of basically any pine/conifers with things like Douglas fir/scots pine/sugar pine and spruce being most popular. If anyone is interested please let me know, I'm based in addlestone surrey and looking for sites preferably within an hour or so drive, but willing to travel if can get right amounts of stock and varieties in one location. I am happy to either harvest myself and pay or collect harvested/bunched products or whatever I'm fairly flexible.
  20. I helicoiled the spark plug thread in a VW Fastback once . Took the engine out to get at it . I asked an old VW air cooled expert ( long time dead now ) called Rudolph Krouzer how I should get the swarf out . He said put the engine back in and start it up . The mag/alloy swarf will just burn away . It did .
  21. This bit of course is all wrong - our cash flowing overseas to fund the Belgians and their pensions (and the Chinese but enough of our cash goes that way to buy their cheap tat).
  22. Well Googled, Kram. Can you tell me what SRS systems you have experience with? I've climbed with a wrench/hitch combination for well over a decade. Pear shaped (HMS) carabiners do not orientate the system in the best way, due to their asymmetric design. The Rhino does, as would the DMM AmericanO.
  23. I've done a few helicoils and they have lasted fine. I use cheap taps but I go slow, use lube and lots of reversing to manage the swarf. On that check for metal swarf in the cylinder, cotton buds work well for picking it up.
  24. Par four again, I'm getting the hang of it now. Wordle 1,685 4/6* ⬜⬜🟩⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
