He'll open the cavity walls if I hide food so that's not happening. I have an even clearer than usual day tomorrow so a big walk for a great reset I think. I now retire for another beer and to throw the squeaky elephant (replacement for the squeaky reindeer) for him.

It’s not food. It is a toy with a small reward. you could do a favourite toy or just something else but the work is using his nose and the reward might be play, making a fuss or in Kira’s case a treat.

Just my 2pence worth, but nearly all the carb problems that I see these days are the result of Ethanol in the fuel. It's just so damaging to so many different substances in so many different ways and has ruined countless engines around the globe, and is only really in the fuel so that our corrupt, stupid leaders can tick some crazy ' green ' box while they cut down nature in order to plant palm trees to satisfy this madness. To this end I've been using fuel stabiliser in all my small engines for at least 15 years.. with no probs, Fuel will stay fresh for years and it costs next to nothing... My 2 recommendations would be Ethanol shield and Briggs and Stratton ' fuel fit ' 👍 And btw if you find yourself forced to by a new carb you might as well buy it from China and wait a bit as it would seem that's where they're made... so under £20 delivered or + £100 at your main dealer. Bear in mind that an ultrasonic cleaner can often dissolve these blockages behind welsh plugs, but only with the right solvent... so to that end I usually place the carb body in a jam jar with far less solvent than filling the whole tub and then place it in the hot water of the US cleaner for a decent time.. ..make sure the lid is loose.... which solvent?.. tried many.. feck knows😁

I'm tickled you think I go to work. But when I do, he comes with me. He's with me basically all the time. That is quite a lot of watching me on the computer atm though. Pheasants are perfect timing. I'm getting fat even if he isn't. Hiding food round the place sounds like the last thing I want to do, since eating food found round the place is the last thing I want to encourage.

Sounds a bit like boredom mate. do you leave him for longer period or does he got to work with you everyday? I do quite a few sniffing exercises with Kira. If she gets anxsty in the house I put some marmite or peanut butter in a king and hide it I. The kids underwear draw or some other not so obvious place. She tend to settle after 2 or 3 search and finds.

Sailor's been a difficult housemate recently. Howled while I was (upstairs) in the house earlier. Hasn't done that since I got him. Now just got back from the shop to find he's tanned half a pat of butter. It was my biscuits the other day.

That’s not always possible unfortunately . Trakmet take a 30% deposit up front on every order. On both machines I’ve had it’s been a massive relief once it was in country.

Welsh businessman left customers furious after they paid thousands, then one got on a plane to confront him | Wales Online WWW.WALESONLINE.CO.UK Companies run by Sean Reilly have left a trail of angry customers Wasn’t sure where to put this - it’s a news article so here will do I guess! A mate was nearly stung by this guy - gave him a £5k deposit for a tiltrotator that never materialised. It took nearly 12 months to get the money back (only got it back after things got a bit heavy…) Tread carefully - only part with money once what you are buying is loaded onto your trailer!

Got admit, I just sold ex fil Yeti 4x4 with DSG. Would tow 2 tonne, and smooth too. 150hp and that DSG box was very, very good! Iffy looks on MK1, better in MK2.

Biggest thing, for a lot of us, is checking your cover includes commercial vehicles. Standard cover doesn’t include up to 3.5t.

Sore subject for me. Always had breakdown cover through my bank. Pay £15 a month for a reward account that gives me breakdown cover, travel insurance amongst other things. I’ve used it a few times in the past, but the most recent episode my truck required recovery and it turned out my cover only allowed for recovery within 15 miles of home…I was significantly out of that and had to pay £180 roadside to upgrade it cover 🙄
