  1. Past hour
  2. I thought when I looked into this some time ago, level 4 or 5, can't remember but not important, I was looking at tree life who could do some distant learning but I think you did have to attend a bit.
  3. Off with his head !
  4. Surely it is treason, aiding an enemy and undermining ones own country. Same for Mandy the gimp.
  5. Today
  6. What’s in it for Andrew to spill the beans? If there are any beans to spill. Theres no way back to any kind of public life. As you say, a slap on the wrist, complete disappearance from public life. Live out the remainder in relative comfort.
  7. I reckon so, there will be no charges related to Epsteins more infamous crimes, no charges to any co-conspirators to the same crimes from what this interview throws up, no rich (US based?) billionaires issued with arrest warrants, 2 plus 2 making 500 and probably wrong. My thought, he will get a slap on the wrist punishment, probably finding that the information passed to Epstein didn't harm anything, a big fine, perhaps his passport confiscated. The criminal charges will be enough to bar him from getting a visa to many countries including the US I think quite conveniently, UK 'house arrest'. (Unlike say, Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, welcomed by Trump to the US despite his criminal past including entering the US on false documents)
  8. Hello there! First post on here but seems like the place to go! Currently working within the industry and my boss has said that he would be happy for me to study at work/do an apprenticeship. Now I just have to find one! Does anyone have any suggestions or advice about where to look as there seems to be lots of different choices online. With bills to pay i cannot afford to go back to college but I can certainly spend some time in the evenings/weekends studying. Many thanks!
  9. Whitelands Sawmill | Sawmill Directory SAWMILLERS.CO.UK Based in the heart of the South Downs National Park – Sawmilling & Timber products – Sawmilling Mobile Sawmilling... There are probably others nearer on the web site
  10. Quick enough to complain the other way when it isn't on though!
  11. misconduct in a public office - misconduct in a private office. It's the monkey in us - there's no hope Sir Philip Green, former owner of the BHS retail chain, was central to a major 2016 corporate scandal involving the collapse of the11,000-employee company and a £571 million pension deficit. While no direct criminal fraud charges were filed against him, he was accused of extracting hundreds of millions in dividends while leaving the pension fund severely underfunded.
  12. He'll walk away, just like all the others, mandelson, just like blair, raynor, and every other tentacle of sleaze, corruption, and fraud in the system that reaches far beyond the passing of a few documents and misconduct in a public office. It makes little difference what sections of the public think, or demand, the corrupt system will protect itself at all costs, and it's relatively easy when the rot is so deeply embedded in every part of society worldwide , political, judicial, police, religion. every now and again it throws one of its kind under the bus, just to appease a few, but it will continue, and with even more determination and stealth.
  13. Totally agree. I wouldn’t care if I never heard him mentioned again.
  14. Area might also be a consideration as she’s already concerned at the volume of split wood that’s stacked. Never heard her complain when she’s sitting in front of the wood burner though😂
  15. He needs investigating and dealing with 100% but do we need to know every detail, fed up of hearing about it. Let the police do their thing and let us know once sorted. Headline the other day; 'Andrew gets waitrose delivery to his new house'. Couldn't give a crap tbh. Obviously he still going to buy food from somewhere.
  16. Early on, I considered installing the non-Efi version or down sizing to the Honda 24hp carb or Efi In retrospect that might have been the path of least resistance and stress. Certainly less expensive than buying another chipper though I do not regret doing so. The Kubota powered Evo165 has not missed a beat nor has the very fabric of the machine fallen apart Even recently on Arbtalk FB, yet another Vanguard Efi, this time a TW230, mysteriously used all its oil in under 30 hours seizing the engine without the low oil sensor activating.
  17. English woodlands timber would do this but probably an hour from Basingstoke, depends how far you're willing to travel.
  18. Did they mention it being due for revision soon? I also think there is an ongoing issue with the British Standards where professionals feel the price point is excessive and therefore do not purchase access to them. More of an issue with BS3998, but it's also not a great deal of money if it's the standard you're supposedly working to every day.
  19. Rough night and the has now got it! I fetched the tea on account of wind, she doesn't appreciate it! Light domestic duties and car wash then rugby this aft. Doubt we will get to the pub, cannot taste anything! Halve, Ransom. Did my register on the tablet earlier but it wouldn't post, sorry if it now comes twice!
  20. Just Google it with the file extension you want (".pdf") and you'll find a copy pretty quickly
  21. Morning all. Register attendance has suffered the last few days, not been much spark in the morning here. Making good progress on the site clearance, this last week saw all the felling and winching finished, only two trees left to process on Monday and we're ready to forward the timber to roadside. Then it's just a run round with the heizo to finish. Been an interesting mix of work, always enjoy cutting for the crane processing big trees, much the same engagement as doing windblow, but the ecology side has been rewarding too. Lot of bat features identified to be retained for use elsewhere on site. Starting to feel it physically, glad the monthly physio appointment is due! Have a good one folks.
  22. I am trying to source 3 * 2400mm x 250mm * 100mm sleepers, but am struggling to find anyone in the counties listed. I'm near Basingstoke. If anyone knows a local sawmill that could potentially do this, can you please message. Thanks
  23. So I did the Arb Association 1 day course for the BS5837:2012. But it didn't cover everything in the book, which means I'll need to get hold of the BSI guide. Its £300 to buy which is insane. Can anyone recommend anywhere else a copy can be found online?

  26. I’m not defending Andrew at all, but if you are going after people for ‘misconduct during public office’ wouldn’t you have to build a really massive courtroom first?
  27. Good morning. Mountain of Oak and now ash to cut split. Best get to it before the weather ruins playtime. Have fun.
