I am looking to buy Silver Birch or Cherry 'Bars' by the lorry load. We have a tight spec, but it can be worth the extra work since we pay more than "firewood" prices for it. Spec: Length 3m +/- 20cm (other lengths to order only) Minimum top diameter 15cm Maximum butt diameter 32cm All timber should be as knot free as possible, 1st length type material (no top wood), it should be straight within reason with no butt flares, rot, dirt or metal contamination Delivery will be to Harlow, Essex. Currently looking for work, ideally within Kent but more than happy to travel. Cross Cutting and Maintenance, Felling up to 380mm, Felling over 380mm, first aid. Own saws, PPE, and transport. Experience in felling both hardwoods and softwoods, oversized Ash and Sweet Chestnut, Ash dieback, cutting to spec, presenting for extraction etc. Also had experience driving 30 ton excavators on building sites with a mixture of buckets and rakes, tractors with cranes and other attachments, telehandlers. 07494 542 809

Hi guys, I have a rather strange request from a customer for 2 Oak logs from Sherwood Forest. The logs will be milled so needs to be of a decent size (ideally 3m length with 30cm - 60cm diameter but we can discuss the details) and preferably green. Also, I will need a felling licence to prove where they are from. Delivered to CM17. I know it won't be cheap, so if you just so happen to have access to the above and the ability to deliver please drop me a PM and I should be able to make it worth your time. Many thanks!

Hi all, Anybody have any cordwood for sale in the Cumbria area ? I'm looking for small amounts (between 1 and 5 cube) for converting into firewood. Preferably Ash, Beech, Birch, Cedar, Maple, Plum, Oak, Yew or a mixture of the said types. I use chainsaw and axe to produce firewood so does not need to be processor sized Looking to take off people's hands what they don't have the time to deal with.
