  1. More than happy to cut on a piece rate. Genuinely just want to work! Totally prepared to travel anywhere for work.
  2. I spoke to the general manager for the South East who put me in touch with the harvesting area manager, spoke to him and he took my number but said they're moving away from hand cutters to more mechanised felling.
  3. I've spoken with Euroforest, they're moving away from handcutters and towards haversters because of health and safety. Thanks though.
  4. Anyone? I'm more than happy to do oversized edge stuff, Ash dieback, anything really.
  5. Currently looking for work, ideally within Kent but more than happy to travel. Cross Cutting and Maintenance, Felling up to 380mm, Felling over 380mm, first aid. Own saws, PPE, and transport. Experience in felling both hardwoods and softwoods, oversized Ash and Sweet Chestnut, Ash dieback, cutting to spec, presenting for extraction etc. Also had experience driving 30 ton excavators on building sites with a mixture of buckets and rakes, tractors with cranes and other attachments, telehandlers. 07494 542 809
  6. Cheers, I sent him a message the other day and was going to try calling in the morning.
  7. Hand cutter looking for work I've spent the last year in a mixture of hardwoods, coppicing, thinning. I've also done some larger stuff, overstood Grand Fir plantations, Oaks in a woodland needing to come down, storm damaged Beeches etc. Own saws, PPE, and tickets (30,31,32 EFAW+F) and insured. Ideally around Kent/Sussex, but happy to travel/potentially relocate if the work's there. More than prepared to graft to earn a decent wage, currently self employed and on a piece rate felling Chestnut but open to other options. 07957 621952 martinholmes@gmx.co.uk
