  21. Hi all was wondering if you could possibly pass on some companies in Northern Ireland/ Republic of Ireland that would deliver Artic loads of cordwood for processing so I can get an idea of who to contact. I’ve bought a new place with a yard and outsheds and I’m looking to start a firewood business on the side. It is more of a hobby to fuel the home and looking to make a bit on the side out of it. What kind of money am I looking at in these crazy times of price hiking for artic soft/hardwood delivered. Also what kind of demand is there for softwood? Personally I like the way spruce dries so fast but it does burn a little fast and needs to be a nice size. Or is wood burners your only target if selling softwood. Would love if some of you in the business would shed some light on the above in these current times.
  22. Hi I am looking to build up a good supply of hardwood (not fussed about the type) for my pizza oven. I don't really want to pay out £90 and upwards for logs in the bags but I'm happy to pay towards delivery/labour costs. I'm located near Lakeside Essex. Thanks : )
  23. Hello I am looking for: (either and/or) Soft wood (for firewood) Hard wood (for firewood) Wood chippings (clean, for mulching, garden stuff) 1. Delivery is best , i am home most days. 2 Happy to collect locally, if lots of wood I would have to rent a van which means a few days notice I am based in hoddesdon. Thanks Adam
  24. My partner and I have exhausted our knowledge and energy whilst trying to find a focus group and market for our work. How do you persist and keep motivated when you loose your steam. Exhausting is an understatement. Thanks all 🙏
  25. Hi, I'm setting up a tree nursery and planting an orchard near Winford, North Somerset. Trying to get hold of a lorry load of hardwood chip? The more the merrier. I'm finding it's all going to woodchip fires around here. I'm keen to get some decent piles on site before tree planting season starts and before the land gets too wet to get vehicles to drop where I'd like it. Although we do have a yard. If anyone here knows of a big pile that needs a home I could organise the transport myself. Or if you're working in the area and just have a truck load that would be very welcome too. Thanks 🙏 Diana
