  6. Hello, I live just outside of Cambridge (CB23) and will happily pay for unprocessed wood I can cut up myself and split for firewood. Hardwood, softwood or a mixture is fine, and it can be as knotty/rooty as you like. If it's seasoned, that's a bonus, but I'd not plan on using it for a year or so anyway. We have lots of space with good access so can accept a large amount if easier/better.
  7. Hi all I have just collected a load (2 estate car full) of holly Logs. This was cut this week. I was going to cut and split it for firewood, but was told that woodturners love it. So I thought I would post it on here to see if anyone would be interested in buying it off me there are 16 logs with the diameter ranging from 15-20cm length 1-1.3m and 6 logs diameter approx 30cm length approx 50cm. Not really interested in selling individual logs . Based in ME18 in kent. If there is any interest please post. Thanks

    Chapel Farm - Plantation

Hi there, We are located just below Holman's test mine in Troon, Cornwall; we are on the same road, the first left after the mine's path. The chips would be used for our paths and gardens located on the farm. HGV's come and go from the mine multiple times a day with no problems in regards to the road. I've drawn where the general drop would be best to go however it is just a rough guideline and it can go a lot further back than the photos show. The only requirement is that it doesn't block the path on the left or the gate that is to the right that couldn't fit in the picture.

  12. I’m looking the wood for chopping to teach 14-18 year olds. Nothing special, dry or green. Though cut into blocks would be useful, not essential. Thanks for anything you can drop by. It’s my house only because I don’t have a hut to meet at. We are happy to pay for anything tipped, though dependant on what you are tipping.
