  1. And most get their money from the state/taxpayers!
  2. And the fuel, oil and wear on chainsaw. This load would cost £780 from B&Q and took me 3 hours to mill. (OK, the trees were mine and so free but you get the point)
  3. You can make anything mate. Bandsaw is just a whole lot more efficient than a chainsaw. Took me 2 years to build this, 3/4 with logosol M8 chainsaw mill. When I got the bandsaw it was like going from walking to running.
  4. Did you know Brit Ekland had a body double as she was heavily pregnant? The youngsters today are spoilt. We had to freeze frame for our jollies in those days Apologies to the youngsters who won’t have a clue what I’m talking about

  8. I saw a bloke being interviewed and he said he would try the Tories as they had nothing to lose. Boris may just try and keep them blue by throwing them some investment but time will tell Why labour put in a Remain candidate is beyond me
  9. A right wing populist government conning the poor and ignorant or a neglected working class population fed up with Labour not doing their job?
  10. Not worth worrying about. Go to your gp and tell them. A few bloods, a memory assessment plus or minus a brain scan and then you can most likely put it behind you. Depression can present with short term memory problems, recall and concentration, as can thyroid problems, vitamin B12 issues and probably other stuff
  11. never seen one, nor a turtle dove. limited to south i think and declining numbers
  12. Not wanting to touch next years logs so carefully cut up some old fence posts full of metal so I can keep my fire going. Can’t be long now
  13. Feck! I was in the TA in 1994. I hope I’m not called up
  14. They definitely are. Stubby. Would you like to buy a pre owned 20 year old chainsaw? I cannot tell you the make, it’s in Chinese
  15. Doesn’t look too big but will have a version with a lengthy cargo bay My wife’s got an EV and it’s bloody brilliant to drive. Effortless acceleration and the specs on the trucks look just as good
  16. You must look after them well. Mine all have a great life but it’s rare one Fox or another doesn’t see them off before they can draw their pension
  17. I personally cannot wait for an electric truck (obviously not the Tesla) The Ford 150 looks to be the one I would go for but a few years away I’m afraid
  18. Same with my pond tonight. Putting the chickens away and heard a splash. I hope they don’t stay cos they do turn a pond full of wildlife into duck shit soup
