  1. For me, spring starts December 22 after the shortest day, then snowdrops etc with the first bulbs showing. My wife thinks late April is her favourite time of year but I prefer early May, more colour and warmer. This pic was taken at end of day hence the unusual hue
  2. Would like to know how often though. I can’t have a tap and shank for 2 hours after cos my forearm hurts
  3. I just wonder how much difference it makes
  4. I think Thomas the Tank Engine fixation is now used as a diagnostic criteria [emoji6]
  5. Some engines are literally 50 years old, third generation. I enjoy building them but it is my boy who runs them. He has a YouTube channel with 27k subscribers, I would imagine 90% of them autistic as he is.
  6. Couldn’t wait to put the boy’s train set table up even before I have finished cladding the interior. First “wood” I’ve bought for years. Can now start to reclaim his old bedroom
  7. Newcastle Quayside has changed quite a bit since I was last there

Elaborate contraptions to do a simple task. the same Wikipedia page said "throwing money at a problem was to Trigger it"
  12. Looking to cut some featheredge panels on my woodlander. Any tips? I was thinking once the section is square just putting a suitably thick batten on one edge to give the angle??

  18. Do you gas them or strangle them?
  19. Yes. The bait they supply smells gorgeous. A bit like Nutella with vanilla. Tried peanut butter. I now use a couple of Kania traps. They are good but I’ve actually had a wren nest in one as well as a mouse [emoji3061]
