  4. yeah, that won't stop people commenting👍
  5. Schadenfreude is a complex emotion where, rather than feeling sympathy, one takes pleasure from watching someone's misfortune. This emotion is displayed more in children than adults. However, adults also experience schadenfreude, although generally they conceal it. Wikipedia
  6. I think that is unfair tbh. I should imagine others reacted like I did. Originally ignoring his jabs, then politely pointing out that there was no need to reply in his manner as it is just banter and people’s opinions then just calling him out and then in my case ignoring him. I see his last post is a classic. like a 2 year old denying he had pinched the chocolate while his mouth and clothes are covered in the stuff
  7. I must be missing something. Why would he?
  8. ive actually got interested in my old o level subjeks, well maths chem physics and biology. i found i take it in and understand it when reading the course books for fun rather cos sum teacher tells you too. i dont need to do the inglish ones thou

  12. I do believe he gets sexually aroused by insulting people. he is on my ignore button but I do see other's quoting him. thankfully my kids were raised in the country, all in late 20s now and cannabis was never an issue. my 2 brothers' kids were raised in the suburbs in Nottingham where apparently, teenagers doing spliff was the norm and they succumbed to schizophrenia, one nearly taking his life and is now in long term care. if he calls these kids junkies i wonder what he calls other drug users.
  13. I know. Being a Remainer I have boycotted Dyson products but I cannot boycott Rosies 8% cider at a couple of quid a pint. Had a few of those at the Spoons in Broad Street Birmingham a few years back. Deceptively strong and very drinkable
  14. Although I love the pubs ( I think there is a lot of snobbery about Spoons) he is a Cnut So I suppose I’m a hypocrite cos I like cheap real ale and I don’t mind the sharp business practices that gets me it. Mind, haven’t been in one for ?? GOK
  15. Is this not why Americans have high incidence of hand injuries?
  16. I dunno. Most of us are on here to be part of a community, not to be insulted by childish, arrogant, contrarian trolls. I like to think I’m good at my job but there is a hell of a lot I do not know but certain people talk as if they know everything about everything and if you do not agree with their instant, “still to dry”, google wisdom, then you are fair game for their juvenile name calling.
  17. Any UK ones knocking around?
  18. I understand why you say that. I’ve just replaced a pair because the finger pads had worn through and I thought shall I just go for general gloves. The only bits I can ever see injuring are my shins while limbing but these stats say otherwise Table 1 | Epidemiology of Chain Saw Related Injuries, United States: 2009 through 2013 WWW.HINDAWI.COM Table 1: Epidemiology of Chain Saw Related Injuries, United States: 2009 through 2013
  19. This was this week last year. I bet it’s still an egg this year
  20. Just about everything is out of stock from tarps to camera lenses ( ok they were the last two things I shopped for yesterday)
  21. Since ignoring two particular members the covid topic seems devoid of bullshit now
