  1. Steve ask very good question, if soil level was changed, its over, beech will slowly die, in my experience 3to 6 years, I seen that many times at building sites, beech tree is very sensitive to changes in root sistem.
  2. Sadly, I done lots of work like that, customers just ignore all my explanation, that they wasting money and destroying tree, so I just did what they want, it just me or others, sometimes I pass those ugly things I did, and feel embarrassed. Just do it.
  3. Here , in Ireland for last 2 years ,i gradually rised my rates 30 percent ,still gettin nearly 3 out of 4 jobs, so another 10 percent on the way . 5

  5. I am 25 years in landscaping and tree business, only 3.5 tipper or flatbed with a tail lift, trailer it's not very handy, don't forget u need to tow a dicent chipper for big jobs in future.
  6. If it possible to have and carry 2 saws with you, I use 261 and 661,but I think it is not very common in forestry.

  8. 200 gram difference between ms 400 and ms 462, I believe its not that much, actual size is the same, as I said I like ms 462 more.

If i have to had only one saw on the ground , ms 462 have no competition ,and i dont have it .Ihave ms 400, its nice ,but i see no advantage to my 261with 0.325 1.3 chain .Ms 500 i nice one but all people saying very hungry for fuel ,and very little advantage to ms 462 ,few pounds difference in price i believe is errelivant .
  10. I'm getting a 50 eu for ton of not cut oak, beech, ash, maple, still not worth a hassle, so i believe this ad is a scam, 90%.

Some DIY ' ERS are better than some so called pro' s, tickets give you no protection, gray matter inside the scull does, any thikets give protection to employers pocket thats it, and its absolutely normal. I khnow 3 incedent, with chainsaw all useres was ticketed and experienced , and only one without(he was drunk during operation, and it was me,chainsaw trousers saved my leg).
  15. Most good workers, i khnow are self-employed people, that said something, isn't?
  16. If you good worker, you can fight any employer, no problem, and negotiate good wages and so on, even nasty employers arent stupid 😉
  17. I do not buying any 2t equpment, secon hand, always dodgy, no matter what, seen many examples.
  18. You dont need 14 on ms 171she barely can drag that, 12 is sufficient.
  19. Exactly what i was sayng, they all become socialists, everithing must for free, everithing must be easy, i am entitled to quality living, i want 4 days working week working from my bed, and i am entitled for a hause in a center of London, 😩.
