  1. Heron's gotta eat too!
  2. Sounds painful, all the best with it, and the wedding.
  3. Thought you'd have been talking about Cab climate control systems or the best User Specific Seat Memory in tractors by now! Seriously though, gripples are a great invention.
  4. Was ambushed by a moscovy duck today (so I was told), large chap.
  5. That wouldn't be allowed to happen, taxpayer would bail them out first
  6. Hope the day goes well, if there's a lot sold you'll get credit for the excellent display.
  7. Pity all that stuff is covering up your workmanship, no-one will see your work properly!
  8. Ouch, that'll nip for a while. Agree with the sentiment, recently one of the guys at work was off for a few weeks after hurting his back lifting his shopping off the doorstep.
  9. Beautiful glasshouse, very Victorian. Is it original? Yes Sime, it is. It's quite a selling point for their Weddings and Functions apparently, but not cheap to look after...
  10. It's nice Gary. Unlike some of these big old places that get tatty through lack of maintenance, it's been in the same family a long time and it's well looked after. They have Vines in the glass house that they make their own wine with too.
  11. Done a couple of days hedgecutting at a local hotel. First day was bitterly cold with snow and rain but today was short sleeves all day. Great having the little crane to pick sheets from the back side, saved an awful lot of dragging. Lady owner came out to show her grandkids the tractor, "bring the team to the glass house, I'll have soup served at 1pm". Lovely!
  12. Try the chainsaw protective kilt, they're good in the heat. Lets the blower breeze in to all the sweaty nooks and crannies
  13. If you haven't done it already put your details here. https://arbtalk.co.uk/recycling
  14. I'd agree with Spring, seen similar around here. Lots of Ice Houses here, recently did work on top of one. There's a tunnel entrance with full size door on the other side.
  15. Did you read Patrick Goulding's post? He said he'd had that fault code before.
  16. It'll probably be the case that we (humans) will only have clarity on the subject given a few tens of thousand years of hindsight, if humans are still around.
  17. Reminds me of COP 26 where they wheeled out loads of electric cars for delegates but not near enough charging points. There's a photo of all the diesel generators lined up to keep the green cars powered up!
  18. Interesting story, great experience to have. Experience: I let a baby bird nest in my hair for 84 days | Birds | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM He fell asleep in my palm. As far as he was concerned, I was his mother
  19. Any theories what "Bin hAD" refers to?
  20. On the upside you've increased your enviable collection of saws...
  21. I'm not convinced on point 3, no loss of productivity with WFH, I'll direct you to the DVLA thread as evidence. Personally, I quite liked the lock down thing, with hardly anyone out and about the world was a far more pleasant place to be.
  22. Saw a clip recently where some cyclists were taunting one while riding along a fence line, until the fence stopped and it came onto the road behind them, took 2 out before it turned and wandered back looking very proud of itself!
