I used to work away with an established family business, had a room with them and after work the uncle would feed us then I'd give him a hand for a few hours hand splitting, he was early 80's and could put a lot of people to shame!

Morning all. Everyone still in bed? Had my heart set on a long lie this morning but alas. Looks like no rain which is nice as we had a months worth in two days this week, miserable. Still got mowing duties at the riverside while the owners are on holiday but Monday looks wet so I suppose I'd better mow today. Have a good one folks.

Afraid not. Know a good few others around in the same position as the op that are looking for workers but apparently not easy to find folk. If it'd been a few weeks ago I'd have been in touch for a chat myself but just started a trial with another member here. -
