  1. Syphilis?
  2. I believe Rod Hull tried and failed many times before he eventually decided the only way forward was to throw himself off a roof and let the emu live. Stick to beefburgers.
  3. Morning all. River work next couple of days, several bridges in the East of the region need trees clearing from them after the wet spell, should be interesting. Have a good one folks.
  4. The neighbours tree
  5. Hello Sailor. Nice lead. Going to be a good life as an Arbdog.
  6. Bit of snow under foot, the air is cold and crisp, everything quiet, what a beautiful morning.
  7. Morning all. Was -7c on the walk last night, lovely. -2c now and rising above 0 this morning. The oh away in Germany so just me and the dog this weekend. A few small birch reductions to do for a mates dad so Poppes can help me with that. The big question is which cuisine of the world for tonights takeaway? Only 14hrs to decide! Have good weekend folks.
  8. Morning all. Bit of snow yesterday, -3 this morning but lovely and calm, looking very pretty. Have a good one.
  9. You can check what was recalled on their site Product Recalls DMMWALES.COM 2022 Important Safety Notice: Product Recall DMM Compact Swivel Units - 2/11/2022 2019 Important Safety Notice:...
  10. Morning all. Feels cold again here, not nearly acclimatised to this yet. Have a good day.
  11. Was a good one here today, lovely Irish lady pulled out all the stops. Had a wicker basket delivered to the gardener's shed. Anyone had prunes in blankets before? They're lovely!
  12. Morning all. Normally I tend not to bother with birthdays, my theory is celebrating them just leads to ageing. However I'm feeling quite blessed today, I share a birthday with Cassie the dog, our wee Poppes, who wasn't expected to see this birthday. Yet here she is, happy and still fairly well giving her dad birthday kisses, that'll do for my present. Have a good one folks.
  13. I mullered a hinge or two with the 500 when we first got one but it never occurred to me the saw was to blame.
  14. Sure it'll be a good decision, life's too short to bugger on unhappily if you can make a change.
  15. All the best with what comes next Bob. Morning all, have a good day.
  16. Have a look here https://arbtalk.co.uk/find-a-freelancer/
  17. Down there for tree work
  18. Interesting approach. We'll try keeping the tray, but covered with a tarp...
  19. Prefer coffee but if it's offered I'll take it. Complete lottery. You might get a stale biscuit and a thimble of pee water, or homemade soup and cake. I have furtively poured a cup or two away and a nearby dog can be useful. When they ask how do you take it, we ask them to bring it all out and we'll do it ourselves which helps. Anyone else have a rule of taking the empties back as soon as your finished? Introduced that after filling one too many sugar bowls with chipper dust.
  20. So someone is still trapped in the old mineshaft nearby?
  21. Happy Birthday Mr Lateron! Morning all.
  22. Thought my sales pitch was a winner!

  24. Good morning everyone. Was the cake for you Stephen? A happy birthday!? @topchippyles a fry up sounds like a capital idea, I'll go with that my good man.
  25. It applies to most of society's behaviour. The credit score culture desperate to portray an image.
