  1. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that some of my fruit trees were looking a bit stressed, and I couldn’t figure out why. I didn’t see any signs of disease, but then I found some chewed branches and tiny teeth marks on the bark. Rats! I have a small orchard with apple and pear trees, and the last thing I want is rats damaging them. I thought about using traps or poison, but I have pets and was worried about safety. Plus, I didn't want to harm any of the other wildlife that wanders through. I needed something that would keep the rodents away without causing harm. That’s when I remembered seeing a mouse repellent spray on Amazon. I figured I’d give it a try since it's made from natural ingredients and wouldn’t harm my trees. It’s got peppermint oil as the main ingredient, which is supposed to repel rodents. I sprayed it around the base of the trees, focusing on the areas where I saw signs of chewing. The scent is pretty strong at first, but it fades pretty quickly. The best part is that it worked. I haven't seen any more signs of rats, and the trees are looking healthier already. It's been a couple of weeks, and the damage seems to have stopped. The trees are starting to recover, and there's no more chewing.
  2. Absolutely, you can design your own GRCS if you've got the know-how and a certified welder on board. Just make sure your design is safe and up to scratch.
  3. Not a GRCS replacement, but not total BS either. Always use your main rig for the heavy lifting, but this can be a decent add-on.
  4. A chest tether could help with the upright position for sure. Ground practice focusing on leg use might help retrain those muscles.
  5. For sure, a 12mm will grip better on your Zigzag. Check out Yale XTC 12mm – it's sturdy and less stretchy. Should work great for your weight!
  6. Have you looked at Forest Master or Titan Pro? They're reliable and should be easier to find in the UK. Quick cycle times, and they come in both PTO and tow-behind models.
  7. Try hitting up local tree surgeons; they often have spare cuts to give away. Also, local Facebook groups can be goldmines for freebies.
  8. Yep, used them. They help but aren't magic. Less soot on the glass and easier sweeps. Still, nothing beats a pro check-up.
  9. For your chimney, grab some sturdy fiberglass rods and a brush with good bristles. For septic pipes, though, get a separate set; trust me, it's worth it for the mess.
  10. Got a Jotul made of cast iron - total workhorse, no buckling, worth the extra cash. Just keep your chimney clean!
  11. If they're stacked right and it's not too damp out, they might dry down in a few months. Splitting 'em helps speed things up. Just keep them off the ground and covered on top to protect from rain.
  12. I am not a specialist and I can't be sure but there is also a risk when it comes to this subject. The best thing you can do is contact a specialist and see what their thoughts are.
  13. I don't think you should be very concerned. However, keep on eye in case it gets worse.
  14. I'm sorry to disappoint you but there is no way to make it better or coming back.
