  11. That took me longer than wordle to work out!
  12. There you go with the assumption again 42, I'm not surprised, the likes of you and the others never answer a question. I'm getting a dble cab pickup, just to commute in, not even a towbar on it. No doubt you and your libtard cohort will be happy to see me pay for the pleasure πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

  16. Yes it is sime. It's the edge of a community woodland, got smashed during Arwen, mostly that section has been clear felled and replanted so not much left. Only a few of these edge trees were unscathed.
  17. Morning all. Windy here too, sun's out though. Plenty of showers yesterday, quite enjoyed it when I was out and about, felt nice to get wet and the smell of petrichor (thanks for the word OSM!). Made the mistake of going for an evening walk without a coat, not so pleasant once the sun was low. Fortunately the oh assisted with my poor choice of clothing, even though we're dogless, she's still carrying poo bags... Have a good one folks.
  18. I was young Les, but I remember what it once meant. A world famous occasion held at the birthplace of rugby sevens. As a born and bred Melrosian I was on the hallowed Greenyards pitch at 5yr old, I've done the scoreboard, been a ball boy, litter picker, parking attendant and a player. I've helped Doddie Weir accomplish the feat of withdrawing 20 quid from a cash line and even witnessed David Campese recieving fellatio from a sports presenter in the clubrooms, she shall remain nameless. Nowadays it's a corporate event, nothing but a scourge on Melrose, they even tore up the Greenyards pitch to install a plastic football pitch for profit! Sorry Les, but I'm entrenched in grumpiness. Enjoy spoons
  19. Interesting one locally, an Osprey nesting threesome, hats off to the chap for taking on double trouble! Tweed Valley cameras capture osprey nest love triangle WWW.BBC.CO.UK The relationship of the birds - two females and a male - in the Borders is "amicable and tolerant".

  21. Morning Stubby, morning all. Had some rain overnight here too, expecting more over the weekend. Got an Apple tree prune to look at as a homer today, then probably just be out and about. Big event in town this weekend, which being a grumpy old man will be best avoided. Experience tells me it'll get frustrating from mid morning onwards, as the PA system starts to abuse my peace, then it'll be disco time when I'm in bed, the drunks will keep the police occupied no doubt and phone reception will die due to the number of people. They tell us it's great for the community but I think they must mean the pubs as the locals barely tolerate it. I'm of an age I can remember when it was a big community event! Grump. Have a good one folks.
  22. I see the shorts on YouTube and it looks good Les, think Tom Hardy's been good in everything I've see him in. Probably can't watch it though as I've no netflix or Amazon stuff, what's it on?
  23. Already am Les cheers, the commute from my couch to the kettle is short and traffic non existence, I'm a winner! Have a good one bud.
  24. Morning all. Impromptu day off for me, a lot happening lately so nice to have a day to myself. Might get a haircut, see the cafe, and not much else. Hope things are improving in peds world. Have a good one folks.
