Another thing I think is overlooked most of the time is how an individual reacts to a situation. There are cracking climbers who I'm completely convinced would get to me quickly anywhere in a tree, but so squeamish they'd be little use. Of all the talk I've heard on the subject, and the times I've had that chat with someone, "got rescue ticket", "there's the rescue kit", "designated rescuer", I've never known anyone say if the rescuer is capable psychologically. Bit like someone having the first aid+F ticket and first aid kit, it's no guarantee of urgent medical care being given proficiently. -

Had a collie you couldn't keep out the water, he'd swim forever, if something sank he'd snorkel for it with his head fully submerged. Anyway back on topic, nice twig spandit! Well heavy for its size 👍
