  2. I do rate them poachers alarms on the container doors ! Set erm about ear height ? ( but don’t forget !! ) the bastards ( should have they fingers cut off )
  3. Get loads of trespassing at the moment especially one guy who walks his dog ( off lead ) in the park and woods and always leaves his fosters cans in the same place! I had enough of this messy twat so I set a poachers alarm up with a 12g cartridge ( shot removed ) it got triggered and haven’t seen him since !. God I wish I had set a camera up ?
  4. Thought it would be to easy ! I’ve got a Takeuchi tb153 and thinking of getting a flail head and would have been nice to track and cut in some situations.
  5. Maybe a silly question but Is there any way to divert the high speed tracking hydraulic flow when switched on to provide extra flow to the head !!

Got done by a hornet today ( yep it smarts alright ) was tidying up some fallen branches from the winds the other week and suddenly noticed some buzzing around me ( didn’t like the chainsaw saw noise or fumes I presume ) dropped everything leaped on quad and away one got me on mi elbow ?. Was like a seen from a cartoon with the buggers flying after me. Chainsaws still there laying on the floor.
  10. Was a few going on last night in hertfordshire between the clouds! Next ones in December
  11. Perseids meteor shower is at it peak tonight and tomorrow 12-5.30 !. One of the best of the year with showings possible every 2minutes weather permitting.
  12. I think whatever you choose it will be your best mate ! You’ll talk to it about all your highs / lows they will never judge and always listen. Would never be without a friend by my side ! Or legging after them chasing a muntjac ?

  14. I’ve just started using these used stillages from packs of paving slabs I get them from builders merchants for free and from landscaping firms I see out and about ! I only put wood I want to keep separate ( fruit / hawthorn etc ) that I want to use for personal bbq smoker and fire pit probably get 0.5 m2 in them ! Maybe useful for the home owner types for storage as easy moved with a compact ?

Reading through this with interest as I will be requiring someone’s services with a decent/ large grinder later on in the year / early next year probably in the range of 30/40 stumps sizes from 12” Connie up to 4 foot Wellingtonia possibly bigger with beech maple birch yew all in the mix. No problem with access at all and arisings can be left on site ! Either I will load up with digger and cart away or whoever can load and tip on pile to be agreed. Location north Hertfordshire any one interested or know of someone.
