  4. Can you not put the machine back in and part exchange for the one you require and then transfer the finance to the newer one,Sure the dealer can help.

  6. Hi will, i live just a few miles away from abergavenny and have a lot of pals down that way in the arb business so can put you on to a few lads down there,What is the reason for moving if i can ask.
  7. If its the same system as the construction industry then you will need to have a large turnover to be tax exempt and they will give you a system to use to give to your contractors to say you pay your own tax,Just need a UTR number for cis 20 % deduction.
  8. I have a 5.5 hp 3 phase converter i no longer use as i upgraded to a 15 HP one because i have bigger machines in my workshop if your interested.
  9. I do both contract and private work and paying tax through the year is a always nice as you do not get a big bill to pay and even get a rebate most times.

  13. The boys down at galletleys sharpen my sawmill blades for me,What is your setup down there squaredy as in your workshop saw ect as always interested in local guys as can always help one and other out as we do on here.

Will phone guys at tck rewinds tomorrow and get the number for you,Took a motor in for my cross cut a few months back to get rewound and cost to much and they put me onto the chap down in llangorse and i rang him and he buys and sells 3 phase wood machines.Does repairs as well i think and tck lad says he is very good.What make and model is the thicknesser
  15. I am upon the heads of the valleys so quite close so sure guys would be able to help.I have my own 3 phase machines and maintain them all and have just gone through my 3 phase sedgewick planer/thicknesser,Have you greased all the bearings and pulleys as that makes a huge difference.
  16. There is a firm up in ross on wye that i have had dealings with before and also a guy down in llangorse brecon who over halls woodworking machines and i can get both numbers for you if it helps Squaredy.
  17. Can do 900 wide at a push but cut around the edges to cube it down
  18. Andy i pay £70 a ton for larch/douglas fir and spruce delivered and in a 10 ton load i get 3 ton of oak at the same price

  20. Softwood go for douglas fir and harwood oak, idigbo, mahogany or redwood
