  2. Andy works on the rigs most of the time and his saw is when he is off for a couple of weeks a time
  3. You are far better off doing that way andy which is what i do and it makes no difference if vat registered or not,Your turn over will not get near the vat threshhold as you have a full time job to.
  4. Better to cut mill them and cover them up and they can season quietly over 18 months

  10. Different trade really to the saw boys as mainly softwood in carpentry which is mostly fir trees,Joinery is different as a lot of hard woods used.
  11. Need to add photos if selling something i think and would be better so people can view what you are selling.
  12. Depends on what type of work/contracts you do,If you are only doing private work the 2m is plenty.If its contract work then check who your working for.
  13. Will know what i have booked in by the middle of next week as am contracting away which is due to finish up soon so will be in my sawmill working but can give you a few days help no problem.
  14. If you can get hold of a pink sheet it will give you an hour fire rating and is by far strong enough,3 times the strength of normal board as its a fire board ?
  15. May have a few days coming up and only 30 mins away
  16. Plasterboard will give you a half hour fire rating so if you foil it and trim around it that will be fine.
  17. Bit more info might help as where and when to start with.
