  1. You find spud pretty good alec
  2. I only do olive ash sorry 🤣
  3. I have not slagged you off at all. Just mentioned you had a beef with spud which you seemed intent on getting him to bite. This is an open forum and i am quite capable of making my own mind up thanking you. Leave you to your night shift over and out.
  4. No grind between us frammo just pulling your plonker a little. Maybe you and spud do not see eye to eye and i get that mate.
  5. I lap nothing up musch and as i said i have had little to do with spud since i joined the forum.I do not know the guy but others speak well from what i have read. To commend someone has 3 or 4 tools is just plain daft but your cornish and would not expect any different. My dad is cornish so used to it 🤣
  6. Not one to forgive and forget are you frammo. Bated spud tonight for no need what i read but he raised the bar and let it go. Spuds names pops up everywhere on the forum regarding ported saws and by other members who has used his services and to add he is one member who i have not had much contact with, A good reputation is hard earned and what i have come across spud seems the real deal as well as someone else who i buy from Rob D chainsaw bars uk and would certainly recommend rob to anyone.
  7. NO no no its total lunacy to even think it. Ash is simply not suitable for external cladding or any exterior uses unless its pressure and chemically treated. Douglas fir or larch and even western cedar are perfectly suited for your project.
  8. We leave all that cute and creamy stuff to trigger. Eggs was on about his lunchbox yesterday 😏 I left that thread well alone it was going in the wrong direction yuk
  9. 200T ???? Is that some sort of sexual device ? 👴
  10. Never think one of these would kick off a row would ya tommy B
  11. Been watching old series of axemen and they used the 090 for the monster trees. The 090 was to equal to chain sawing to what john holmes was to the porn industry. 090 100" bar - john homles 19" bar
  12. Thread is about Stock Fencing Price 2021
  13. So you can teach the old dog new tricks then it seems. Let that be a lesson to you micky 😏
  14. I have bought and sold a couple like that and looks like ones used for carrying traffic lights
  15. Quad trailer will do the job
  16. I hate social media for that side of things. Very dangerous which is why i never use it.
  17. Only experienced it once really nasty. My lad was brought into a thread and he has autism which i found went totally below the belt. Good strong banter i can do day in day out but there is a line one has to respect.
  18. Paddy disagreements are part of life but pure filth is not acceptable on an open forum others enjoy using.
  19. Your like a swiss chocolate log Stubby. A little hard on the outer shell but have a big soft centre 😏
  20. The lord is my shepherd i shall not want 🤣
  21. Seems we have a few chapel goers amongst the crew mick.
  22. Not need for a written quote for his customers. Just give them a link to his arbtalk postings per job 🤣
  23. Depends where in the uk you are based
  24. Ash makes great firewood and burns brilliant so wood is not the issue but the moisture content. Kiln drying is a proven system used world wide so can rule that out being the cause. Supplier is the problem here without doubt so i would be taking this up with them. Is not been left to dry long enough in the ovens and most likely demand out stripping supply with the shortage of imported timber (brexit) Can you mix it in with some other drier timber say 50/50 and see if it brings the temp up
  25. Good luck with your project jayne and i will pop suzy a message cheers
