  1. I have never used the ripper 37 blades so cannot comment. Maybe others who use them on different saws can advise or you could ring stephen cull. Can you not run the timber over the surface planer ?
  2. Blade tension for me all day long as that controls the wheel alignment.
  3. Who ever does arb training would know i should think. Never needed qualifications or tickets to use chainsaws myself as not really in arb or forestry.

  7. These people are not from mars so rest assured mick your quite safe. Modern day dildos tend to be made from a more flexible sensual feeling material these days 😏
  8. Should not be cutting like that at all.
  9. Speak to chris mate he is the main guy to deal with.
  10. Sounds like you guys are really hammering through the logs as a slower cut may prevent this easily enough.Think about if the log is very well seasoned and you are really forcing the saw its bound to be putting pressure on the cutting performance.
  11. I would be varying the blade cutting speed and the speed of cut through the log.It may well make a big difference depending on how hard or soft the logs are but a new blade set correctly should be fine.Chris will not come out as he is just an agent but woodlands do have service engineers who have fleet vans. Just document and photo things but i would certainly email chris and speak to him as he may well have come across this various times before.
  12. Should not be getting ripples like that though.Have you tried various cutting speeds on the throttle
  13. Post on the woodlands facebook page mark as without seeing it up close its pure guess work.Others will have had the same issues and the facebook place will have the answers. Can only be one of a few things causing it.Blade tension-guide bearings ect
  14. Big J will be the boy on this one as lives down your way and does this sort of stuff all the time
  15. Glad i am not climbing trees every day as cold enough in my workshop but at least dry and kettle on hand
  16. Makes no difference what so ever. You may be able to get some adjustment out of the flue and drop it by 40/50 mm
  17. And charged you for the privilege.Total bollocks and just put it on the tiled floor
  18. My mate martin who is very well known to a lot of the guys on here covers west wales. He has a wood-mizer LT40 and hires out and can pass his number on to you but you will need a place to work from
