  1. What age to you guys keep climbing to. I am 50 and feel 30+ years of work on the body so could not imagine can be many in their 50/60s still working full time doing big take downs.
  2. How far apart do you put the posts on this fencing ? every 2/3 meters

  4. Needs cutting and milling when its freshly cut really stubby. Terrible stuff the resin on your chainsaw bars
  5. To old now for anything other than firewood.Be full of sap now and a nightmare to do anything with.Even as firewood it would need to be burned with some coal or on a very hot fire as gives off a lot of tar
  6. Your machine is more than up to the job and a thumb grab will work no problem. If its just for loading cordwood onto a trailer no need to go to great expense.
  7. Couple of you guys could with half the one i have in the yard. Its a 2 section 11 metre ex BT and just to big for anything i use. 5.5 m each half

  11. Their just a harder wood when air dried and will burn longer no question about it.
  12. Your wrong the air dried will always be more dense and burn longer

  14. Most like newport in general where some will have plastic windows/facia/gutters and go round the corner and still old wooden windows with old painted gutters.
  15. If others close by with same sort of thing crack on. It is not a planning requirement anyway but one thing they do look for is within keeping so to speak.Your no where near national parks so fall under the general welsh planning/building regs
