  5. Whats your location? If your near i have some more piled up at work you can have, i’m in lancs.
  6. Had that about 3 hours ago here, all passed now and brightened up, still cold though in the breeze.
  7. Spuds suggestion is a top trump for you, dpm membrane is cheap as to are staples. I went a bit more heavy duty and screwed old “long vehicle” aluminium reflect boards to inside of my softwood sleepers that were being thrown in skip at work back in may 16, still going well with no rot today five yrs on.
  8. Anytime boys and girls! Got a few takeaway menus you can scout through! [emoji6][emoji106]
  9. Acer coming out Camellia Dr King starting to come out
  10. Cheese pie about to go in!
  11. Seen one on friday whilst out doing some clearing work with spuddog, up here in sunny but cold lancashire
  12. I kinda thought that, but then it is the first section joint away from top of the stove, so how would that end fit the top of the stove if spun round? I do suspect a leaking joint though looking at the movement marks, prob be best to reassemble with high temp liquid/silicone type sealer.
  13. I’ve got an old genuine 6v dynamo for a fergie somewhere, think its at my dads, in original grey clothing if i remember rightly!
  14. There wont be a difference, was just suggesting it cos 881 is a stihl obviously and their alkylate fuel is motomix, they cant argue on a warranty claim regards wrong mix or anything if your buying from the horses mouth sort of thing. Depends how much you use your saws, Saul (Rough) buys the barrels in of motomix as it knocks the price down a fair bit apparently, and he’ll fairly spunk it with milling 6hrs+ a day i would imagine. Not trying to steer you away from aspen in any way paddy. Was just looking out for ya regards the warranty front. Shouldnt make any difference though really. [emoji106]
  15. No not that i know of, was just looking at it from an easiest point of view, if ya know what i mean. If you have easier access to aspen rather than motomix and it works for ya then should be fine [emoji106]
  16. It’ll av been fired up on motomix no doubt, stihl’s alkylate version, be practically same as aspen i expect. You not want to run it on motomix? No arguments regards warranty then what so ever.
  17. And i think they are pre painted flue sections anyhow not painted stainless.
  18. Thats a movement mark, the flue has come upwards, you could be leaking on that joint too.
  19. Alright kitchen-creme lovers, back on topic come on! I think otter may be on to something regards a painted stainless flue, the first joint up away from the stove looks scabby like it has paint loss? Do you know if it has been stainless painted or if they were black to start with?
  20. You coupled to a flue liner or in to open chimney? How old is the house? Post a picture of your setup, someone may spot something.
