  1. That Yew looks really nice, What you using it for?
  2. Maybe have entry and arboretum separate. As I saw alot of people who clearly just went to the arboretum, but came and walked around the show and I feel this really did not help with the queues at the food stands. That being said I did see a group of small children (who parents clearly didn't know the first think about ARB) marveling at the utility arb demonstration (future tree surgeons I recon )
  3. It was my first ARB show and hopefully not my last
  4. Looking to do about a week of work experience, in the cheltenham area (Probably in june) Nothing official (school/college related), just more wanting to get a taste before I go and spend alot of money getting qualified. Since I am not ticketed I get that it would be more dragging branches, But I need to know that I can drag branches for 6 hours before I spend the money on tickets. I am competent with felling and climbing, but as mentioned above probably wont be able to do any of that. Many thanks James
  5. I am afraid not, I only know he had to replace the battery after about 4 months
  6. Why have arb guys always have dogs, not cats? (This coming from a guy with a dog)
  7. A friend of mine used to have one, and from what I heard the batterys die of pretty quick.
  8. Looks good. also have you been using a mewp or have you been climbing them?
  9. Looking forward to getting a look around tommorrow
  10. Do you think a chainsaw mill, using a lawnmower engine could work? Because lawnmower engines are very cheap, very easy to work on and have a decent amount of power. I am not actually thinking of doing this as I recon it would be bloody dangerous, But I would be really interested to hear your thoughts on it.
  11. Looks alot nicer. I that was me I would have felled the beech, to make more room for the oak though,
  12. sorry to here that, hope you can make it next time
  13. Yet I still feck my grass with a ride on mower????
  14. Completely fecked, teeth are rounded over and some cracks forming, so probably going to totally replace it.
  15. anybody have or know where I can get a starter pulley for a husky 37?
  16. The 37 Is here and I am looking forward to getting it started
  17. Just got this brand new toro (with 30" deck) and if fracking awesome. I would 100% recommend it to anyone lokking for a large commercial mower. I will be doing a full review once I have used it a bit.
  18. I kinda feel like someone should, suggest that to sthil or someone. Because I would totally pay the extra for a feature like that.
  19. I have never really heard of that happening (in my area), but with how desperate people are these days I would not be surprised.
  20. Yeah but thieves not being able to see that there is stuff, would probably act as a good visual deterrent
  21. Thanks for protecting us, from that unthinkable evil
  22. Just how?....... seriously how?
  23. if anyone has any wood chip they are getting rid of this or next week in the Cheltenham area, I would be more than happy to take it. I am looking for about 2ish transit loads. Many thanks James
