  1. I am looking for a saw to do up over the summer and I was wondering if Anyone is selling an old stihl? I am ideally looking for an 026 or 038 but I will consider anything that is a reasonable price. It does not really matter what condition it is as it will be fully rebuilt, so really anything that is not seized.
  2. I think you have hit the nail on the head there, it makes the most sense at least.
  3. still looking for woodchip and arb waste
  4. Meh when I was climbing SRT with a 08 when I was 5, But really it is good to see future generations getting interested.
  5. Well I think it takes one hell of bad person to take advantage of, the elderly and vulnerable, like this.
  6. screws probably just moved themselves (it happens a lot), you can probably find a tutorial of how to reset the screws on youtube.
  7. Not meaning to be rude, but did you touch the h/l screws on the carb while rebuilding it ?
  8. What sort of ignition system does it use?
  9. Did you replace the fuel pipes at the same time that you did the carb?
  10. I am not around tomorrow, but I will definitely have a look on the website
  11. Good work with that cladding, looks really neat
  12. After all of this I have decided: 1, I am going to buy a decent acender 2, I am going to buy a cruddy one, so I can do a proper review off it (If I stop posting it means it was really bad quality )
  13. about a month ago I learn SRT climbing, But since then I have only had the opportunity to do it once or twice (not work just fun). But recently I have been wanting to do it a bit more (again just for fun), and I was wondering if the cheap Chinese kit, would suffice, as I do not have the cash for expensive stuff. So what I am asking is if any of you guys have any experience with this sort of kit? and If so do you recon It would work? example of Chinese crud: New Foot Ascender Riser Rock Climbing Mountaineering Equipment Gear | eBay
  14. If you are looking to get rid of it, there is a market for the parts and taking them apart is really rather interesting.
  15. If you are planning on mounting it vertically it will seize very quickly, as the Oil dispersal thing only works horizontally, meaning it would be equivalent to running the engine without oil.
  16. From what I know, the classic has no electric kill switch (coil and spark plug are directly connected). But instead It relies on a mechanical system.
  17. I would bet that the police just don't bother looking into it, since it is very likely fake and I doubt anyone actually selling counterfeits, would do it in such an easy to trace way.
  18. It connects a small break pad, that stops the flywheel from turning. mikerecike I don't think the b&s classic has, an electrical kill switch
  19. Oh OK, guess I am just an active user. Maybe when you update the site you could put a tier, between member and senior member?
  20. Not really a Problem but why does it say I am a senior member?, I only joined in march
