  1. never heard of security on a tree job
  2. I would say that is squirrel, but I can't be sure
  3. from what he said I assume the land is not used by anyone and the logs have been there a while
  4. I really don't think anyone would mind, if you just went and moved it. Just make sure you leave the land how you found it, minus logs of course
  5. I agree with Sveriges get something with a briggs on, cause parts are so much easier to find
  6. next time buy PPE from a company that will let you return it if it doesn't fit (or your apprentice quits)
  7. Put an add on gumtree and the log goblins will have it gone in a week
  8. Yeah, just can't get my head round how the ignition works
  9. I am not sure of the growth rate, but I have found pop makes great kindling
  10. I have had and old Jonsereds 621 lying round for a while (my plan was to rebuild it) But alas due to lack of knowledge and lack of time I cannot. So if anyone in the Cheltenham area is interested, I am selling it and looking for about £10. PM me for details and I will try and post some pics tomorrow:001_smile:.
  11. It connects to an electronic thing (I do not know what it does) and that connects to the points.
  12. That would not work as it does not have an ignition coil
  13. I recently acquired an old 621, with a breaker points ignition system and I have not been able to get it to spark. I have replaced the plug and cleaned the points but I can not get a spark. If anyone has experience with this sort of an ignition system or know how I can get it to spark, The help would be greatly appreciated.
  14. Found this video of a barber chair on youtube, and I would be interested to know what some of you guys think went wrong? NOT MY VIDEO [ame] [/ame]
  15. My father in law is looking into getting a new firewood saw, and wanted to know if I knew anything about it (I don't). So if anyone has any opinions/experiences with the saw I would be grateful.
  16. All looks pretty good but your groundie needs a helmet
  17. I had a Aldi chainsaw once and well............ it was terrible. I dropped it and the chain break flew off.
  18. out of curiosity, Was this the same one you offered the wood from?
  19. I have some experience with cheap saws, and I think it would cut the logs just fine. But always be careful with these saws cause the safety systems are.... less than desirable. I did a post about my experience with a very similar saw, maybe that would be helpful for you? http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/chainsaws/106938-cheap-chinese-chainsaw-experience-overview.html
