  7. morn jarborist,was impressed with u retort their,the guy who priced the job was at the job, we havnt, the chap may have seen probs that we cant from a picture,have taken hundreds of pictures of trees,for reference on sites,and to me,they dont seem to do them justice, stay safe. struie.
  8. morn jess,theirs a lot more to consider here than just the :size: of that tree,the amount of waste to be chipped,acces to the road, riggn,etc,it all adds my friend, price sounds about right.

    the point i was making, is, theirs always vat mentioned on machines,tractors, chippers,etc.

  20. well david, now you come to mention it, not sure what the hourly rate was for an army sprog,but it all seemed to go on bootpolish,haircuts,missin kit, oh i, bevy, n fast women,lol.they were the days,and you still had enough for a long yomp home.
  21. 1976,a few months waiting to get away to the army,worked for a farmer for that duration of time,milking twice a day and so forth, rate, 50pence an hour,oh i, and lunch and dinner thrown in. lol.
