  1. Pretty sure it says fjmatt under the thread title with the number of responses and how long ago the last post was made.

    3metres?
  4. Are they worth the money? Link pulley or cocoon? Is there any difference? Thanks.
  5. Cheers Steve! Great job so far
  6. Steve any chance the general chat, +, page, search icon bar can be fixed so when you have read the comments in the thread you can press the page icon to go back instead of scrolling back up through the comments to go back. Hope that makes sense.
  7. Should be an interesting thread this. We we have a decent 1st aid box which generally has bits of everything in. It is not really arb specific so I'll read this and add to mine as appropriate. Remember Jomoco? What happened to him, this thread would have definitely peaked his interest. I'm sure that guy towed an ambulance with him
  8. I think it's great now! It's a bit like going from a prussic to a mechanical device takes a few days to click then
  9. Your welcome Mull, I struggled at first and didn't like the changes but have to say I'm quite liking it now, definitely growing on me. If in doubt just press the timeline button
  10. The American doctor had helped someone in a very similar situation with the same problems as Charlie and they had responded well to treatment. Vesp we are not talking any doctors we are talking the popes and a guy from America with experience and positive results in such acute cases. If if you would have been at one with not exploring those 2 stones that's your choice I'd have explored them out of hope and love. To to be fair with hindsight it made no difference to the end result but at least they tried. We we will definitely be of differing opinion on this one so this is my last post with regards to Charlie as I won't change your opinion nor you mine so let's stop making the same points in different ways as I for one have no issues with the actions his parents took nor do I have any issues with how you would have handled the situation if it was you in their shoes. Hindsight is is a wonderful tool we never have the use of in real time.
  11. True but when other doctors want to take a look and offer hope i.e. The yank and the pope you have a duty to explore those avenues. We are all different but knowing I had explored every option and the end result was the same I'm sure time would heal somewhat and my conscience would be clean. Again it's easy looking from the outside in, I couldn't imagine having to live through what those parents have gone through.
  12. I'm growing to like the new layout. I'm on iPhone and I just press the page icon with the 3 lines on it which seems to be from what I can gather the timeline of where people are posting.
  13. Easy for us to say as outsiders but they where looking for hope in hindsight where there was none but still I'd have acted the same, no way would I live with myself if I had made the decision to say enough is enough.
  14. Good stuff!!
  15. His parents had/have to live with any and every decision they made and the reason they went to court was to extend his life so he had every possible chance of living and they could spend more time with their son. As as a parent I would have done the same rightly or wrongly because the one decision I couldn't have lived with for the rest of my days would have been the one where I was ok with the drs ending my child's life.
  16. Wasn't aimed at you Kevin it was more towards matelot. It is the same rhetoric every post. It starts having the opposite effect he intends because he posts the same intention within every post. I have a view point somewhere between the middle and the right but I don't tell everyone about it within every post or try to hide my message within every post. I post varied content with with differing views on all subjects be it arb, politics or news related topics as do you, just wish others would offer the same to stop the closed minded (as you put it) tripe. Closed minded fits his content as it's a 1 way viewpoint every time and frankly relentless so quite a fitting offering from you Kevin.

  21. Why? Are they vastly different? How does the pulley compare to rings?
  22. How much difference is there between the 2? I'm currently using a teufelberger multi Saver and think it's great but can't help keep thinking about what a pulley Saver would be like in comparison?!
