The West, which you seem to blame this situation on is doing all the can yet you express a deep dislike for countries such as Germany and the US which without their and other Western Countries aid would leave Ukraine in a far far worse situation than they are now. There will be millions of Ukrainian refugees heading west soon, much more than already are. That means us, Europe and the West are directly helping Ukraine. If the aid being sent to Ukraine is being hoarded and stolen from the people then you need to point your finger at Ukraine and not us. And if you care so greatly about whats happening in Ukraine why dont you put your money where your mouth is and take a flight over there and fight for them? Id gladly make a contribution for your flight.

Thank you for your insight. I think many understand that there is masses of propaganda on both side of this conflict. I find it laughable that the UK is looking to shut down RT as its the Russian Propaganda mouthpiece yet this is exactly what the BBC is. We're essentially being told what narrative we're allowed to be exposed to. I find this comment quite insulting really. The West have turned their back on Russia, they have isolated the country and are doing what appears to be everything they can to turn Russia's hand. Its the West that have sent millions upon millions in aid money, weapons and humanitarian aid. It will also be the West that takes in all the millions of refugees. That is simply not possible. You must know what would spark if NATO joined forces with Ukraine? It would be the immediate start to WW3, it would be the West declaring war on Russia and Russia's allies would have their hands forced into joining as well. We cant have yet another World War where the Catalyst is yet again a Slav nation. Ukraine is as about as far Right Wing a country as we have in the world today. Its ironic that the West which is every increasingly Left Wing has sprung to the defense of such a Right Wing country. The massive movement seen in the youth of the US and in part the UK towards openly embracing Communism seems to be completely forgotten about as they now fawn over this Slav Right Wing Country. It was only a matter of time before Germany needed some pretext to tool up again. Yet in light of this you want Ukraine to join NATO and the EU. If the Ukraine joins the EU it will be volunteering to be the pet puppy of Germany. The Ukraine will always be a net beneficiary to the EU, meaning they will forever be indebted to Germany and France. Is this what you want? You cant have it both ways. You cant have the Ukraine as an independent country but also one that runs to the West (which you seem to hate) every time Russia gets annoyed at them.

Yes, I firmly agree with you that they have the right to self determination. But actively asking to join an organisation that is funded by and large by the enemies of Russia is going to provoke a response. Ukraine is in the unfortunate position where it’s simply impossible to get as far away from Russia as humanly possible. They might have swung from being Leftie Commies to full blown Right Wingers but their geological location is obviously unmovable. Sweden and Finland made the wise choice to remain outside of NATO for this very reason. Don’t poke the Bear. It was a tactic that up til now has served them well. Now Finland and Sweden are spooked. If they join NATO now then I fear WW3 is inevitable. The US is literally playing the board game Risk and will have Russia surrounded. A cornered animal is dangerous as it is unpredictable.

I can’t say I’ve noticed the brakes being over worked. The brakes on the Jeep are certainly up to the task of pulling up with 3.5t on the back, yet to notice any cooked brake smell. In three years of ownership I had to change the rear disks, shoes and pads for the first time this January. Not bad considering the work it does. Ive yet to feel I don’t have the control of a manual. If I wanted I could use the manual paddles but have never even considered this. I think modern 4x4 autos are a different breed.

Ive often got 3-3.5t on the back of my 2014 Grand Cherokee. Never had an issue Towing with it. If on a muddy track I just drop it into 4low and crawl out. Hills have yet to be a problem in the Auto.

Im near enough £150 to full the Grand Cherokee @ £1.55 a litre.

Now thats a real shame.

Its arrived safe and sound after a 9 hour drive home. Very good condition for its age.
