  1. Is it not Electricity that powers most of these machines?
  2. If Ukraine wants to live in peace then they should not poke the Bear. Ukraine joining NATO is essentially putting the US along the Russian Boarder and I can quite see why Russia is not accepting this any more than the US did not accept the USSR having a Missile Base in Cuba. The US invaded Cuba via various covert and overt means and the US is still punishing Cuba for it til this day. Its easy to fall for the Western MSM Propaganda machine but some critical thinking is needed before we swallow it all down like soup.
  3. Tried a moisture meter? Seems like the logs could be wet.
  4. This thread has nothing to do with the quality of the logs though.
  5. Give Rotatec chains a try. I’d not say they where the best chain out there but two 18” chains delivered for £20 they certainly are the best value for money. The pre-stretch is good. They hold their sharpness very well. And so far they’ve sharpened nicely.
  6. Me neither, better off with a wire brush if jet washings outta the question.
  7. Sent you a PM. You can either message me there or you can send a SMS to me if you have an iPhone as Im currently Off-shore.
  8. Ask them if you can? Sounds like a bodge If factor in fixing and replacing immediately. I doubt it was. Without paperwork it might as well not have been regardless if it was. If its not been inspected by a HETAS registered person, ie a Sweep within the last 12-24 months then even if it was legally installed its no longer 'legal' or better put no longer insured so if your house burns down because of it then you're liable. If a sweep inspected what you describe I'm quite sure it would get condemned anyway. Ask to get a HETAS registered Sweep in to have a look and that you'd pay for this. Im quite sure its going to end up with a big red sticker slapped on it and then its gonna put other buyers off and you're in a better bargaining position to negotiate a slightly better price.
  9. Fire it up and see it it leaks? I’m sure fresh rope is more than able to keep the smoke/gasses from leaking but keep a carbon monoxide detector close by. Unless you really like it I’d rip it out and replace with a modern Stove. You’ll make your money back in no time with fuel saved through efficiently.
  10. Fair point. Cheers.
  11. Anyone know if there is a towing speed limitation for a machine like this? The manual does not mention anything and M.Large said "Standard trailer laws apply so check the highway code for the towing speed." So I assume it can handle 60mph towing?
  12. Your mum.
  13. Now did you see him in person to confirm that or was it the MSM telling so?
  14. And get in your car and drive out to local Estates. Get your name out there and leave some business cards.
  15. Not really seeing any left-wing nut job involvement to be honest; https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10536319/Questions-charity-founded-Captain-Tom-Moores-daughter-fear-tarnish-legacy.html
  16. Stolen off of FB but I like the idea.
  17. I guess there is a good reason why she should not and thats been flagged as a good reason to investigate her. I can only imagine what her father would think of her creaming off such a vast salary in his name.
  18. I’ve edited my auto-correct. 😁 So you don’t think it’s anything to do with his daughter trying to screw a £150,000 salary out of the Charity then? 🙄
  19. So in light of everything posted have your views on why the charity was/is investigated and do you now see why it was?
  20. Eggs, you'll have to trust me when I say I pikie-dar just like I have a Gay-dar. When you know you know. Its in the eyes if nothing else.
  21. Im playing Devils Advocate. But yeh, we always knew when the pikies came into the pub. Weird aura
  22. The vans full of stolen CD Players.
  23. That makes two of us.
  24. He could well be getting by doing the jobs the big boys just cant be arsed doing. Sometimes mopping up these jobs can be a good earner. Say £200-300 a day for the baby chipper, in 6 months the lads got the funds to get his GM130. Just depends on how hungry you are. If times on your side and your not a moany old cant then you can make that hunger and drive work for you. You can turn your vinegar into wine.
  25. In the summer I’ll be producing a lot of wood shavings with this machine. Not 30t worth though. I’ll be building my own cabin as well, just not as fancy as yours 😁
