  1. Just out of interest where did you see this? Facebook.
  2. You can just update the original thread, you dont need to make a new one each time you ask. When you make a reply that will 'bump' it top the top for more exposure. I see there is a Frontier OS31 for sale in Germany just now, on a Trailer too. Norwood made, or at least designed. If you're interested I'll pass his number on to you.
  3. Think its the first actually?
  4. Ive been speaking with a lad on the West Coast about this. He put me in contact with a Miller who Milled his Green heart and he found the blades that worked best where the Woodmizer Frozen Log ones. I'm looking back through my messages to see what the model number was. He said it was still a right challenge, but do-able.
  5. Is that not the point?
  6. Is this the 3rd separate wanted add you've posted on here in a matter of weeks?
  7. Ohhhh, be interested in buying some off of you if you get any.
  8. The 340 will sound awesome with the Cam thats in it and the compression, its 10.5-1. Will need to run on 95 octane fuel to avoid pinking.
  9. Im just up the road in Forfar but dont have a way of collecting any wood just now. I have a large area to dump almost as much as you want though. I'll contact a mate though, he might wanna pop down to fill his trailer.
  10. Its been stripped down to a rolling shell to deal with what little rust it has. Its surprisingly solid, Im assuming because its a Convertible its not been out in the rain much. The previous owner had this down at a restoration shop then ran out of money or something. So there is a box of all the parts sitting somewhere and Im trying to track them down. It was originally a 5.2 V8 with an Auto Trans. But as long as the originals are missing I'll be putting in the 340 I found this month and is now in an engine shop. The 340 (5.6) is a vastly superior engine, high compression, big valves, forged internals etc. Its been previously rebuilt by the same shop its now back at and its been rebuilt with some very nice parts. I'll get it checked over then dino'd and i'm guessing it will be 350-400hp. The Barracuda could have had this engine as an option from new so its an ok swap. I'll maybe go auto but I prefer a manual, so we'll see. As its been stripped down this far I think I'll get it acid dipped.
  11. I know! I had to have it and raided my daughters driving lesson piggy bank. Wife made me replace it ASAP. It’s in with it’s Stablemate. Both A Bodies, both RHD. One for the U.K. market, one for the Australian.
  12. Its a super rare 1969 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible. Its one of 5 RHD Convertibles built for the UK market between 1967 and 1969. One is officially crushed and two are back in the US. The other two where thought to be lost till this one turned up. Plymouth (Chrysler) never made a penny on these cars. They where built in the US with all the goodies like 4 pot disk brakes, limited slip diffs, Heavy Duty Suspension etc. Finding the RHD parts will be a struggle.
  13. Wife wanted an outdoor Easel made for the wee one. Quite like how it came out. Copied this design. Slide the Easel out and it’s a bench with Glass Holders. [emoji16]
  14. Saw now sold. Will keep a hold of the Milling equipment.
  15. Been asked to do more milling jobs locally, having bought a new project car and a rare engine I needed the funds so thought why not. Upped my prices to £45 an hour with the first band free then each band after that either a sharpen charger or a replacement depending on if its just blunt or damaged. Seems like Larch milled products are getting scarce. The lad I milled for today is inundated with orders.
  16. Oh cool. Any pictures? You have two drop legs right? Mine seems perfectly stable. I use it in the vertical for big rounds and sub 30cm in the horizontal.
  17. Ive messed about with mine now Im home. Converting to a Single handed operation is fairly simple when you get your head around how this almost unique 2 handed operation works. Initially I followed what a lad from Rock Machinery suggested and that was to depress the left lever all the way down and drill a hole in the rod and pin in place. Clearly he never tried this out himself as the ram will extend but not retract. Next I removed everything from the left hand side and removed the adjusting bolt behind the right hand side handle, (pic below) but the cross bar connected directly to the Spool needs something to lever off of on the left hand side. So it was back on with all the gubbins on the left hand side. So, leave everything on the left hand side. I'll cut the handle off at a later stage, or make a bracket up to replace the handle. Remove the adjuster nut behind the right hand side handle and it will work with the single handle. I’ve removed all the other junk as well. The log lifter, the log lifter release handle and the log hook thing on the left hand side to keep the log in place. I’ll get a set of tables fabbed up at some point. I’ve had no issues splitting in the horizontal. The 4 way splitter works great, but is a bit slower than the single head. But still quicker than splitting twice. I think when I put some straight Birch and cherry through with the 4 way it will split nice and easy.
  18. Selling a Stihl 088, 48" Duramatic Bar, Various 3/8" and .404 Milling Chains and at least one regular cross cut chain. 3/8" and .404 Sprockets. 36" Duramatic Bar and a brand new Stihl cross cut chain. 48" Chinese Alaskan Mill with Aux Oiler and Winch. Bought a car last night and needs funds to pay for it. 1000 pounds. (pound sign not working)
  19. Sorry edited my post. Just curious why you're milling such thick slabs?
  20. Are you honestly trying to sat that these comments are not directed at the White population of the UK? They are inherently racist. It sets the tone for your entire point of view as carefully constructed as it is to be easily deniable for being inherently racist. It is an attack on innocent people bases solely on the colour of their skin. If that not is racism then nothing is.
  21. What? No there is not! What are you taking about?
  22. I disagree. I am angry, Im angry at the accusations you're making. If not to me personally to the 'white' population of the UK. I find it disgusting and utterly uncalled for. In my opinion its insidious and intentionally poisonous. If I where to make broad sweeping statements like you do to another race it would rightly be called out for being racist. Why should your comments be seen as anything else?
  23. oh right. . Well, i dont like the insinuations being leveled. being accused of being a racist, even by accentuation is insulting. hyper aggressive? OK
