  1. Very nice. What does something like make?
  2. I have a 2.4m screed level I use for squaring up my bandsaw mill and I also use it to see if there is any dips in the Ladder when I feel like breaking my back again Alaskan Milling. Its only about £40 so worth it.
  3. Still would be good to know if the maxiflow (sounds like a pantie liner ) performed better or worse than a new HD2.
  4. I used to drill through my ladder until someone else suggested some thin planking over two rungs and screw down the planks to the log. Its very secure and saves damaging your ladder. Just make sure the plank height sits under the side rails. Something like 3/4"-1" usually works. You still need to wedge/space out the Ladder depending on the log though.
  5. How did the maxiflow perform?
  6. Maybe the same as when you call Panther cutting edge? 🤣
  7. As Saul says a good clean after a large cut. In the field I carry Air Dusters as I get half used cans free from work. Great for clearing the lose dust before removing the filter.
  8. No one’s saying not to change them regularly. That’s not the question the app is asking. Thankfully Saul has given the Op an actually helpful answer.
  9. Ive never tried it but would like to give it a go one day. Is it true that if you pick up a stone you have to use it?
  10. Thats great! At 19 its very impressive.
  11. True, I just really like Danish Oil. Leaves a hard film and is child and food safe.
  12. From ''thats not a resin finish' to Nice table that. :D:D What a plonker.
  13. You can get this finish with Danish oil if you've sanded well and done the final coat of Danish Oil with a Green Scotchbrite.
  14. That seems dirt cheap to be honest. But I guess there is only so much you can learn from that. Still sounds well worth doing if nothing else turns up. Our local collage does courses in Dry Stone Walling, but we are in farming country.
  15. They are a well built bit of kit but certainly not that well built. Cutting edge is taking it way to far IMO. As you say plenty of small changes could be made to make a good design better. I guess we’re too spoilt with the standards a real harsh environment requires equipment to be built to. 🤣
  16. I get a good supply of half empty bottles of Loctite. Just as well really. 🤣
  17. Get a grip of yourself Leslie.
  18. Oh cool. I should contact Rob about warranty, I never thought about going down that road. Cheers.
  19. Will be at least 20 years before they disapear.
  20. Mine broke as well.
  21. As I mentioned, its little more than a side note, although Ive got hours to kill Im certainly not gonna do so on an irrelevance. You raised the point yet seem unable to elaborate further, so lets just put this one to bed, huh?
  22. Not even an indication of what way the wind is blowing? Whos got the time to read through 70 pages of guff on a subject thats little more than a side note?
  23. What a surprise you're fawning over her over reaction since she claims to be double jabbed.. Funny how you expect everyone else to stick to the rules but when the rules no longer suit you, ie expected of you to vaccinate your children you say feck that. How very selfish of you! What about Grannie?
