  1. Sup Eggy!
  2. What does that matter?
  3. I imagine after paying £40,000 in Norway I still pay more in tax in the U.K. than you do. Are you gonna dare give a glimpse at what you pay? I seriously doubt it
  4. I’d hazard a guess more than you. And that’s considering I pay over 40% to Norway. I pay over £40,000 a year in tax to Norway. I’d love to see what a bum (that you admit to be) pays here. I expect I still pay more tax on the U.K. than you do.
  5. That’s you down to a tee Mark. A soap dodging tax dodger like you admit to be. Seems like you’d do anything and everything to avoid paying tax so getting sucked off by a zBmw driver would make your day
  6. So how does taxing cars and personal goods come into it then? That is what you suggested? Right? You do know they are already taxed right?
  7. So care you define what you’re actually talking about? So far I’ve just seen political mumbo jumbo. “Tax cars and personal good!” “ that will show the rich!” In case you have not noticed that’s already happening.
  8. So you'll be considered an elite snob as soon as you arrive then? I assume you've read up on Jantes's Law? Law of Jante - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG I am of course playing devils advocate. I cant see me staying in Scotland for more than 10 years. I doubt the UK either, so maybe its the EU or back to Norway to live out my dotage. If I continue to work in Norway and keep earning what I do at 62 my Norwegian State Pension will be about £32k a year and at 67 its £50k a year. Leaves a lot of options open for me. But Im loathed to pay tax in a country that is now openly enabling smack heads. Im literally done.
  9. That's quite a broad spectrum. Could you define that? In all honestly you've just described what I imagine Labour would consider a VW Golf and a Toothbrush.
  10. Define luxuries.
  11. The UK is beyond doubt a rip off. Its eye wateringly expensive for those that contribute the most and they/we get so little recognition or anything back. We're just told we need to shoulder more and more as we're clearly earning too much. Hopefully you'll no get your pants pulled down in Sweden and get disillusioned to quickly. I thought Norway was utopia for the first 3 years then reality set in.
  12. My local Shell is out of all petrol and only had diesel in stock. Limited to £30 per person. I was in for petrol for my Jerry cans but since that was out I topped off my diesel tank. Popped over to Asda and again a £30 limit, filled three cans and thought nothing of it. Ended up back there later that as I bought my daughter a car to pass her test in. Only let me put £7 as Id used my card earlier. You can imagine the looks on the folks behind as I put the nozzle back and punch in another card to add what they must imagine is another £30.
  13. If you’ve not read it how do you know this?
  14. Very well put. entrepreneurialism is very much encouraged as well. I pay less tax in Norway than I would do in Scotland. Between £5-10,000 less a year in Norway and you do not get punished for earning more by having all the benefits available to you means tested. So I still get full child benefit and just had a lump sum of Cash for Care back dated due to Brexit. A nice wee 70,000nok in the bank account on Friday. Unheard of in the U.K.
  15. No body believes any government in the UK are acting in the peoples best interest, they just vote for the person/party that they feel will screw them and the country over the least.
  16. Ok, whatever gets you through the night.
  17. That makes no sense. Everyone has the same opportunity to fill up. Why would those low on fuel not be able to pull in and wait as well? I literally did that today. It sucks fat balls but hardy headline news.
  18. I hope you paid for 30 litres! 🤣🤣🤣
  19. And in my opinion thats directly related to being in the EU. The plasters been ripped off and its time to suck it up.
  20. Because Tree Surgery seems to be a minimum wage job? Might as well have a ministry of Tesco Check-out Girls. Incoming!
  21. Who's saying they will not be needed in 8-12 months? A HGV Driver is for life, not just for Christmas.
  22. That ships sailed sunshine.
  23. If all else fails blame the Tories.
  24. Yip, Ive yet to 'panic buy' in my life. Went to fuel up today since I was low and the local station was mobbed. Its bogroll gate all over again.
  25. That’s the most bizarre suggestion I’ve seen to date.
