We are not discussing policy we are discussing what we think ( Emphasis on THINK not what’s gonna happen or is ever going to become law) eggs or was that not the whole point of this. By the way where is this list of mass murders who apparently kicked off during sentencing in the UK ?????
-
So what !! That’s the time for the muzzle.
-
Cost to keep a prisoner in the UK right now is around £40k a year. That’s money that could be far better utilised elsewhere. She won’t be alone, she will as others have done build a form of life for herself inside being fed and cared for at taxpayers expense. The sheer fear of knowing the exact day and moment you are gonna die and the fact her life has been taken just as she took the life of others is a far more appropriate punishment IMO.

I’m trying to remember the name of the show and wether it was a Drama or Documentary that was about the fight by staff to stop the whole imposition of trust status and all that came with it at one particular hospital. Way way too many massively overpaid managers and non front line staff in the NHS.

You lost the will to live did you Eggs Read your original post !! You asked what people think ??. I replied with what I think of the current situation ffs🤷♂️🤷♂️ Put up some guidance on what you personally are interested in or want and don’t want to be included in the answers to the questions in your posts if that’s the case you grumpy old twat 👍

100% they should be forced to stand in the dock and receive whatever is given punishment wise. If they start shouting muzzle them. We are pathetically soft in this country. Easiest most cost effective solution would be lethal injection. If the return of capital punishment was put to the vote im very confident it would be an overwhelming majority who’d want it brought back, myself included. I don’t care if it’s not a deterrent to some neither. The number of prisoners who will see out their days at tax payers expense who genuinely don’t deserve to be alive is ridiculous. Lee Rigby’s killer for example 🤷♂️standing with the knife in his hands covered in blood, why that armed response guy didn’t drop him I’ll never understand.

Yeah great little machines for the money, I did the same with the frame as you describe on my first one. That’s a nice height to work at on the mill in the pic.

Sold Les I’m afraid

Les to be honest that logosol of Andys cuts brilliantly bud, faster than mine in comparable size logs for the reasons I mentioned previously. Obviously the Trakmet will take bigger and has the hydraulic assistance etc but I’d not knock those logosols, he hammers that and it’s yet to fail. I’d have loved one of those if the 130 I’ve just installed hadn’t popped up at right price off a pal. I’ve not had chance to get down to his with the Trakmet due to our work schedules tending to clash but im sure I’ll get the chance at some point.
-
I think the guy really needs to sit and think what he wants wants Les and how often will a 1m plus diameter log be on the bed!! as the whole wide throat/cut thing is a capability that comes at a price in many ways. Pushing a 1.1mm thick band ( which has to be spot on set and sharpening wise)through an up to 1150mm wide bit of ( in my case) Oak or Elm etc is not a quick process and to be honest whilst I do use that width it’s not an everyday thing. I knew when I bought mine what I wanted it for but I do miss the capability to push hard and cut quicker for a higher production rate on smaller softwoods 🤷♂️in my case it’s a compromise I can live with and it comes with no financial penalties. if it’s a high volume primarily softwood operation the OP is looking at then I’d just go for a standard 800 or 1200 model or the 600 premium which in reality will do 99% of logs, I think a standard 600 premium will handle 900mm diameter. The urge for wider and wider cut’s sometimes drags you down the wrong path bud. I’ve put a little 130max in static mode at home I use for smaller stuff Les rather than having to set up the Trakmet every time I want to cut something. I find that far easier and zero hassle to do a few cuts or a couple of beams etc on up to 500-600 stuff if I need to. Ps before you comment Les the vertical supports in the centre of the opening are temporary for when we we were working on the roof 😄

Inside get-tough Belgians' zero-tolerance approach to stop small boat crossings APPLE.NEWS OFFICIALS in Belgium are stopping small boat crossings to Britain thanks to a zero-tolerance... Can’t argue with none of the policies the Belgians are enforcing. The information regarding the left wing socialist authorities around Dunkirk and the approach they take is interesting.

Will it tow 3.5t 🤔

No ranting no whining just pointing out the ever increasing amount of facts and evidence available day after day that prove you were bloody stupid to buy into that crap. To say despite this huge amount of evidence to the contrary it was a “ necessary “ evil just about confirms everything for me. Please by all means enlighten us all to the positives associated with that period. As for too much bandwidth then do as I do often, ignore and walk on by. Or at least do as others far cleverer than you or i have done and have the ****************ing balls to admit it was a bloody disastrous totally unnecessary concept from start to finish rather than still trying to justify it to save face.

Former Covid medical officer Van-Tam takes role at vaccine maker Moderna APPLE.NEWS One of UK’s public faces of pandemic, ‘JVT’ was known for football-related metaphors in No... You getting it yet 42 🤷♂️.

The Ranger rust/paint issue must have hit hard financially but I guess in the scale of things not enough to hurt too much. I was on my 2nd wildtrack and probably would have gone for another but the hassle and final round of battles with Ford customer service has done it for me. I’ll run the current 68 plate model to death and see what’s around then.

I could 42 adopt the tactics you hide behind and post up a dumb arse pic that in no way detracts from the fact you are firmly in the category mentioned by another member earlier, anyway the big difference between the two issues you describe, as valid as they may be and the state enforced lunacy you supported is that I can in some respects control what my children eat and indeed can also if required monitor or restrict internet/social media access. I could not reopen schools, allow mask free learning, allow limited/unlimited travel or visitation of family or friends, enable access to dental and other non essential but still important health care etc etc etc . What I could and did do is stop the vaccination of my kids with a totally unnecessary and unproven vaccine despite a great deal of pressure from NHS Scotland and their school. Id like to know how many of the original covid warriors on here, knowing what they know now are still taking the vaccinations offered themselves , still happy to allow their children to be vaccinated regularly.

I looked into these for a mobile set up and ended up with a quite in excess of £100k so I’d imagine £40k wouldn’t go far unfortunately. Lovely machines and if money was no object then I’d love one.
-
Trakmet would probably be the option I’d go for judging by your requirements and budget, sensible money and super heavy built. As big J has stated ( he’s ran a Trakmet in static mode, whereas my own experience is only of a mobile version ) be aware of the speed/accuracy limitations when trying to cut with a very wide throat. Trakmet will build in additional log handling aids on the mill no problem and the 3 phase hydraulic system is very fast and has plenty of grunt. Go for the biggest motor, band wheels and widest blade they will offer you. You will need good dust extraction for sure and I’d be looking at sharpening and setting too, I’ve had markedly better results since sharpening/setting my own blades including much better longevity which I guess is down to a proper gullet grind. I think there is a new TTP600 premium static around somewhere “ cancelled order” that would do the job, standard width for those is 900mm I think but don’t quote me on that. If you order a new machine don’t expect delivery any time soon, it’s a decent lead time.

The aftermath of COVID-19 lockdown: Self-harm and suicide-related behavior among children and adolescents admitted to the Psychiatric Emergency Department - PMC WWW.NCBI.NLM.NIH.GOV For every dumb picture you put up I’ll give you a link to some real time facts/study’s that describe the aftermath and devastation for children of the crap you argued so strongly for.

What argument would that be !! I replied to the point you made stating that there must be something in it because lots did it 🤷♂️🤷♂️Christ that is as flawed an argument as it just about possible to try and use. I genuinely can not understand how anyone with any understanding of the damage caused or who at least has tried to look back objectively at what was done during that period, and with a mountain of evidence that is increasing by the day as to the cost in so many ways can somehow still think it was a good idea. They say hindsight is a wonderful thing 🤷♂️🤷♂️it would seem that’s most definitely not the case with many people.
-
I’d say the effects are plain to see and are right in front of you right here right now if you choose to look. Why must there be something in it because the majority went along with it ??. That’s like saying Hitler must have been onto something 🤷♂️. I know from the first hand experience of watching what it did to my youngest of 6 kids “ twins” without needing a child psychologist to try and explain it. It’s called being a parent. So you really believe the government had some secret information regarding the lethality of covid that they didn’t share !!!. Politicians from every party and scientists in positions of influence ignored the rules because they knew they were utterly absurd.

14 million children in the UK silenced by the Covid-19 Inquiry WWW.SAVETHECHILDREN.ORG.UK More than 40 of the UK’s leading children’s charities and child development experts have urged... Your theory about everyone living in the countryside in Sweden or heading off to their weekend retreats has been thoroughly debunked on here numerous times including by individuals who reside there. Multiple children’s charities and organisations have come forward with ample evidence regarding the damage done by lockdowns. The whole lockdown and restrictions theories were built upon massively flawed assumptions and modelling by self promoting individuals who ignored the restrictions themselves (which sort of gives you a massive clue as to how worried they actually were). It was far from a uniform scientific thought as you claim , those scientists who disagreed were utterly vilified regardless of the qualifications or experience they possessed. There can absolutely never be any justification for the madness and stupidity never mind sheer cruelty we witnessed during that period. I could add multiple links or pictures that would seem to suggest children are maybe not at resilient as you think.
-
Without restrictions 60 million within a month 🤔. I really thought people had now had the chance to look at the whole farcical business and it’s enormous consequential damages and costs with the benefit of hindsight and statistical evidence from many countries ( including one that didn’t lockdown at all that pretty much destroys the pro lockdown argument) Apparently not. You do realise how much of the normal treatments and care you quote were missed in the name of covid I presume ??.

In some ways true, no different to saying the person most effected by any illness is the one with it but in no way does such a vague statement detract from the utter madness of lockdowns and the now plain to see for everyone damage they caused. By the way what was the average age of people whom sadly did succumb to covid??? Why doesn't Britain regret lockdown? - UnHerd UNHERD.COM Three years on, voters remain in favour
