  1. No he won’t, journalists and the MSM in general with a few exceptions have over the past couple of years reached new lows as far as I’m concerned.
  2. Yeah, not been in long but hopefully she will be a pain in the arse for that covid clown Trudeau.
  3. Premier Danielle Smith to end agreement with World Economic Forum BETA-CTVNEWS-CA.CDN.AMPPROJECT.ORG Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says she is cancelling a health consulting agreement involving... I guess she must be a moonbat then 🤔either that or a lot of people have been right to be wary all along.
  4. If you are wrong or were wrong about something then admitting as much is and should be no issue in particular for politicians. For me it’s far from over with and just looking at our economy should be enough for the masses to be asking what the hell was all that about. Just coming back to what you said about your Mrs regretting getting the jab ( I won’t call it a vaccine because it’s blatantly not one) my Mrs had the issues with blood vessels rupturing in her eyes and random bruising, she absolutely regrets taking it and has no qualms in saying as much, I may be in the not so insignificant minority as I have been during this farce but I still hope we get some accountability for what was done. Mind you looking at the likes of Blair’s lies over wmd etc I guess I shouldn’t hold out much hope.
  5. I can see your argument but you can’t condone extreme coercion which is what no jab no job is, there are many on the other side of the vaccine fence including a few on here who were total covid zealots. Sweden and Norway for example handled it in a far more sensible manner. I blame weak politicians wholeheartedly and as you say the media generated hysteria at the time was just incredible. As an aside I’ve just had proper old school Flu and it was far far worse than both times I’ve had covid. A good few Tory backbenchers fought against a lot of the lunacy but as you say they were definitely in a minority at the time. The fact that people just want to sweep it under the carpet speaks volumes for me.
  6. New York Supreme Court reinstates all employees fired for being unvaccinated, orders backpay WWW-FOXNEWS-COM.CDN.AMPPROJECT.ORG The New York state Supreme Court reinstated all state employees fired for being unvaccinated during the... Hopefully we see the thousands of care staff over here getting the same justice. The unvaccinated killing granny turned out to be an utter load of crap it would seem. Worryingly there are a good few in Sunaks new crowd whom wholeheartedly supported such behaviour when it suited.
  7. Well if he allows Hunt to cut defence spending in the current climate that should be a massive alarm bell in regards his fitness to hold the position.
  8. A doddering fool but a very dangerous one at that ( especially if you have young daughters). That half jog he tries at every attempt is utterly cringeworthy.
  9. Alberta premier exploring 'pardons' for COVID-19 related fines and arrests BETA-CTVNEWS-CA.CDN.AMPPROJECT.ORG Premier Danielle Smith said she is receiving legal advice on how she can issue "pardons" to Albertans... Something that should be done without delay here too. The care workers whom were dismissed due to lies and false statements regarding covid vaccine effectiveness should be reinstated immediately. Any politician, journalist or civil servant etc who backed and promoted such measures should be apologising at the same time. Not likely to ever happen due to the lunacy and the subsequent financial catastrophe it caused being rather conveniently forgotten about and the fact that the covid zealots would have to face up and admit to what they already know.
  10. Rishi Sunak Warns Of "Profound Economic Challenge" In Brief First Speech Since Winning Tory Leadership APPLE.NEWS Rishi Sunak said the country needs “stability and unity” in the face of “a profound economic challenge”... Well I’d say he would know seeing as he played a huge part in getting us where we are. Not one bit of the current mess will effect him or his massively wealthy family.
  11. He’d need good Binos seeing as that island is on the west coast off Galway
  12. No I’d say you are right it literally stinks 🤷‍♂️
  13. Well he was part of the team who got us to where we are now !! If he had the answers to all the problems all along why didn’t he use that knowledge then rather than tell us he’s gonna do it now. For me he is from a massively wealthy multi millionaire background that has benefitted from an immoral tax break who has zero knowledge of the reality of things for most people. I look at where we were pre covid and where we are now and try and look at whom-and what individuals or organisations/corporations have benefited from the past two years MSM promoted madness !!. Yeah the conspiracy comments will be made but throw in an avoidable but massively profitable war as per normal with the Democrats and just look around at what’s going on and what we are paying out just to get by !!!. The answer to your original question is I’m not sure it was a blatant hit but at the same time I do not think certain people got the leader they wanted and also think the current selection criteria was devised to be able to select a suitable candidate without the need to put it to the party members. I hope I’m wrong. For me Sunak is far from the answer.
  14. Rishi Sunak: Former chancellor who lost out last time APPLE.NEWS A former finance analyst, Rishi Sunak was runner-up in the previous leadership contest. Well here comes the supposed saviour etc etc. People have a very very short memory as it was undoubtedly his irresponsible fiscal policies and support of lockdown madness that has massively contributed to the current mess we are in. Maybe he is the candidate the markets etc wanted after all, to keep the cash flowing in the right direction. I think this is when the covid gullible are gonna realise that it really is payback tine.
  15. Definitely not no In the case of the article about the sea green base units the fact is we are supporting thousands of jobs in China whilst at the same time ignoring the opportunity to rebuild an industry here on our own shores. Insanity as far as I’m concerned.
  16. Absolutely disgusting and totally exposes the lies that politicians both sides of the border and the green fools spout. It would create tens of thousands of jobs if someone at least had the balls and long term vision to put things in motion to ensure a minimum local content.
  17. People are utterly oblivious to what’s going on, the current pricing system offered to foreign firms to install and operate wind farms is literally a licence to print money. But hey let’s get worked up about BJ having a pint during one of those ridiculous lockdowns instead of opening our eyes 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.
  18. Regards inflation etc ex governor of the BOE was being interviewed this morning and blamed the actions of western governments during covid and the war in Ukraine for the current financial mess. He didn’t actually mention brexit once !!. His view on Sunaks action ie printing vast amounts of free money that resulted in a situation where more money was chasing a supply chain lockdown induced ever decreasing quantity of goods etc was that it resulted in where we are now inflation wise. Quite frankly for the fools out there who clamoured for more and more restrictions and support you really didn’t have to be a financial guru to see that long term it might not work out quite well🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. On the same show you had Starmer peddling fantasy economics where we are all gonna get more for less yet refusing to explain how he’s gonna sort it out other than a windfall on oil and gas companies ( no mention of the huge extra profit that renewables and all other energy companies have made ) apparently Labour will quadruple offshore wind and there will be a green jobs bonanza??? We don’t build any of it here, we don’t install it, we don’t make the steel that most of the structures are constructed from etc etc, yet not once did anyone question him on the facts, the UK and Scotland in particular right now is being dishonestly portrayed to the gullible masses as a world leader in renewables. Not sure how we are supposed to cope during periods of low wind but the blatantly obvious nuclear energy part of a sensible mix never seems to be on Labours agenda. What we are is a tax payer funded massive cash cow for the predominantly overseas companies carrying out this work which will ultimately be paid for by you and me. But let’s not let the truth get in the way of a bit of media spin and distraction.
  19. Why we’ll be driving a record number of older cars in the next five years APPLE.NEWS By 2027 around 15.4 million cars on Britain’s roads will be at least 10 years old, new analysis by Auto... Not surprising when you screw people to the floor with high taxes, mortgage cost of living etc to pay for utterly insane previous decisions. You have to wonder if a few political types with an ounce of common sense are gonna realise this proposed ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars by 2030 is pure green agenda driven fantasy that is gonna make life very very difficult for people in particular rural communities. Might have to plan for a long term diesel keeper if they don’t. I had a BT open reach electric vivaro at my place a few days ago, driver was from Bradford on contract work in Aberdeenshire for a week, 14 hrs to get from Bradford to Aberdeen with 7 charges enroute, he said it was like driving with the fuel warning light on constantly, always on lookout for a charging point.
  20. You mention the £40 billion black hole J !!. Did people not think the absolutely irresponsible throwing around of so called free money during the previous couple of years covid lunacy would not at some point come back to haunt us. The outrage we saw and still see towards political types of all parties whom didn’t adhere to the restrictions should have been directed at the whole concept of lockdowns and restrictions themselves at the time. I look back at that period and still can’t believe people were that easily cowed. It’s a whole different topic but the fact is our state or local government ran services including the beloved but grossly wasteful NHS are as big a money pit as you will ever see, like yourself I don’t have a clue as to how it’s fixable under the current political system’s, but was that in reality the desired end result 🤷‍♂️.
  21. Climate protestors who glued themselves to Volkswagen's floor are left in the dark APPLE.NEWS At close of office hours, the carmaker switched off lights and heating and locked the doors. Well it made me chuckle anyway.
  22. Well J the MSM and the internet political experts will feast on this for a few days but in reality once they have had their fill it will be someone else’s turn be it Tory or Labour. It’s a shit show big time, can that knee taking slimer Starmer and Labour sort things 🤷‍♂️I don’t think so. One thing that I’m convinced of is the current situation owes as much to the two years of utter covid insanity and what it cost, as it does the likes of Brexit or the war in Ukraine.
  23. Majority of Tory party members want Liz Truss to resign now - as Boris Johnson tops list to replace PM APPLE.NEWS The majority of Conservative Party members want Liz Truss to resign now - just six weeks after voting... 😂😂well you can’t deny he had a democratic mandate. Things are so ****************ed who cares any more.
  24. Yeah for sure J but that BLM knee taking is enough for me to never acknowledge him as worthy of being PM. I look at the likes of Wallace and Mercer etc as possible candidates but in reality I agree with a previous post in as much that the last couple of years fiscal insanity has proven to be the straw that broke the camels back. I’d say a shit storm is coming very soon and the nanny state won’t be there to pick up the pieces.
