  1. Not sure if it’s a case of being slow, as many have been over the past few years regarding the crisis of that particular moment. I think he posted an article which described how the wildfires are being misreported or rather the source of ignition. Rather than looking to gain a few brownie points with the more gullible I’d be reading the article and questioning the rationale of what and why they are doing. Just a thought 🤷‍♂️
  2. Yep to a variety of article ranging from the Guardian to the Telegraph and plenty in between. I think he was implying something along the lines of extreme right wing literature. But don’t let that stop you pop a having 😄.
  3. You do realise that’s coming over as a bit strange to say the least ie asking men if they know another guys face 🤷‍♂️.
  4. Was that not one of Bernard Mannings ?
  5. Buy what you want 🤷‍♂️that’s your prerogative. I didn’t devote a great deal of time to economic migration as the topic was about the illegals crossing the channel. If you’d actually read posts for so long as you reckon you have you’d have seen my comments on free movement and what it’s done many times. Not just over these handful of posts. You don’t give me advice or advise me what to do or have any idea of what press I read etc etc. I’m more than comfortable with what I believe and how I conduct myself. There are a few others on here who have the mind reading ability too apparently which like yourself is just amazing . We have way way too much immigration both legal and illegal. Legal is legal 🤷‍♂️illegal is illegal, uncontrolled with zero checks as we see on the south coast every day, something you apparently approve of. Keep em coming bud, I’ll do this all day, ask 42 he spent the last few years arguing in support of all the covid crap.
  6. Birmingham City Council effectively files for bankruptcy and stops all but essential spending APPLE.NEWS Birmingham City Council has effectively filed for bankruptcy. 🤷‍♂️
  7. Go and do a bit of research into how many people have been displaced since the first gulf war up until recently from that region My own opinions on the last few governments are that they have been shockers regardless of party.
  8. No not at all the destabilisation of many regions has been a massive factor in what we now see 🤷‍♂️or did you miss that bit ?? As I said to the Norwegian resident at least make an effort to relate your reply to whatever I write rather than what you just want to say . Did you struggle to read the bit where I said both figures were too high ??
  9. Mike do me a favour and please point out where I said anything about how well me personally has done ??? It probably amuses your fellow pro illegal immigration supporters but it tends to work better if your reply bears some relation to whatever I post. Just a thought for you whilst you sit in Norway 👍
  10. You described it yourself with those insane numbers plus !! Illegal vs legal 🤷‍♂️personally I think both numbers are way way too high. Hey you may well get your wish if Starmer gets in. Let’s see what magic wand Labour will wave. At least there’s not much more damage or destabilisation he can cause in the Middle East, old TB pretty much sewed that up long ago.
  11. You do get the difference between illegal and legal I presume?
  12. I don’t see anyone screaming and I never mentioned anything about myself personally or how I’m doing, I gave you an example of what 6 young people are doing which is totally opposite of the ultra negative opinion you have of ( apparently the majority according to you) British youth looking on from Norway. No attempt at diversion at all. What is funny is the sycophantic schoolboy humour the pro illegal immigration advocates are throwing around to tickle each others egos. Guys you may get just get what you’re after with the current levels crossing that’s if you actually live in the UK. Anyway I’ll stop for dinner now and be back in an hour or so 👍this is at least making an otherwise boring shift a touch more enjoyable.
  13. So this is you argument ?? Because I work with and get along fine with a variety of nationalities by your reasoning I should be happy for them all to come here 🤷‍♂️are you genuinely stupid or so naive as to offer that up. We as a nation are everything I said. Illegal channel crossing on an industrial scale such as we are witnessing is just not sustainable. Christ you were a gullible fool during covid but that’s grasping at straws.
  14. I’ve not dodged your question at all. The Geneva convention is in place to answer and define all of the questions you seem to be interested in. It’s not a shopping trip scenario where you go for the best option. How is a stable country precarious ??. Me I’d take the first safe option for me and my family. I’d not then attempt another dangerous crossing. But hardly any of them are actually families are they so that’s a moot point. How many of the countries that these illegals have travelled through would you consider as precarious??. We don’t live in a world where you just look around at what’s the most attractive option and then just rock up illegally, what’s happening in the English Channel every day is sheer insanity and is not sustainable in any way shape or form, regardless of what a few on here seem to be arguing for.
  15. Please explain 🤷‍♂️ just because I get along with work colleagues from all over the world why would I want them all to move here 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️come on 42 explain the logic or reasoning behind that foolish comment.
  16. I know you are not Norwegian. The question you ask bears no relevance to the illegal immigration we are witnessing. I’ve actually worked for companies twice that have gone bust and lost money on both occasions. What I didn’t do is cross illegally into a more prosperous country for purely economic reasons putting huge strain on an already hard pushed social and economic system.
  17. For those who think the UK is such an intolerant place may I suggest a trip to KSA,Singapore etc or even in our backyard Poland, Hungary etc etc. Having worked in both the first two locations I can assure you it’s follow the rules or you’re ****************ed big time.
  18. Same answer as before Are France Italy Spain etc Toilets ?? Your view seems to be somewhat at odds with every single Norwegian crew member on here, male and female when this topic is discussed.
  19. How could we change any law ?? Go and read the part of the Geneva convention that defines refugee status , look into asylum seeker at the same time. The UK as a signatory to the agreement and has obligations but once they decide to pick and choose a country 🙏🤷‍♂️.
  20. Yeah really You did read who’s now working for Amnesty international didn’t you ???
  21. Seriously!! So France,Spain, Italy etc etc or any of the other countries they have come through are such unsafe shit holes they are that desperate they will risk it all to cross the channel. That’s not pluck or courage it’s sheer abuse of a system that’s way way too soft and easy to manipulate.
  22. They are not my buddies they are work colleagues. No I’d not be ok with them all coming here, why would they want to in the first place. What do I think ? I’m happy to live within the set up we have, ie on the whole a fairly tolerant and open society. it’s those who come here and are not you should be asking the latter question. Piss poor clumsy attempt by the way.
  23. That won’t ever happen because the overwhelming majority are not genuine asylum seekers. If they were they’d happily stop in the first safe country they reached.
  24. Send illegal migrants to Islington – see how liberal opinion likes it then WWW.TELEGRAPH.CO.UK Generational failures in the UK and US have led us to the point where drastic measures are necessary Not a bad idea,
  25. It’s good to see a few I’d presume pro multiculturalism like minded souls interacting and enjoying themselves but just out of curiosity on a day to day basis how often do members actually mix or work with a decent variety of nationalities or religions or have worked in Africa,Middle or Far east etc I’ve just checked the crew list on the Norwegian flagged vessel I’m on. We have 19 different nationalities onboard with at least 6, but probably more religions. Integration is never an issue, people treat each other with respect, rules are followed, very rarely is anyone offended by anything and no one is trying to push a particular agenda. Every single person has worked and earned the right to be here. We will all finish the project and go our separate ways, mostly back to homes and families, as it should be.
