  1. Your wasting your time. Their opinions are based on stereotypes and bigotry. Common sense and opinions based on research into the relevant subjects have no place here.
  2. So now you believe all immigrants are in low income employment.. What about the 30% of NHS doctors who are non nationals..or the others who have skilled jobs-managers,web designers, architects etc Your opinion seems to be formed on the assumption thats all immigrants are either benefit scroungers or minimum wage earners which simply isnt the case
  3. My opinion is formed on research and statistical data, what is yours formed on ? You've believed the hyped up lies from farrage and bojo. You have yet to produce and kind of literature that backs up your claims Oh and the daily mail and katie hopkins doesnt count
  4. You have swallowed the bile spewed by the leave campaign blaming all our woes on immigration, indeed if that were to be believed we would simpley close our borders, eject all johnny foreigners and hey ho britain would be great again. I at least have come to my own conclusions and beliefs by researching the data produced by studies, not listening to bufoons like nigel farrage and boris johnston who have time and time again been caught out peddling there lies and inaccuracies to hoodwink the british public and further there right wing agenda. I begrudgingly admire the gusto with which you argue your case but in time you and many others will realise your wrong beleiving brexit is a positive step for our country.
  5. Here are some facts for your perusal.. 30% of doctors are non nationals, infact the english health service have 235 000 workers who hail from abroad thats 19% of the entire english national health service staff. Our universities receive 5 billion a year from non national students. 10 % of construction workers hail from abroad Did you know that statistically non nationals in the UK are more likely to be in employment than british citizens refuting the notion that immigrants dont contribute to the UK economy. These are the facts. What do immigrants do for the UK economy? Nine charts Conservative ministers seem to be ignoring | The Independent
  6. Why would anyone lose theyre council house or employment? How do you know that would happen or it this just more rhetoric? You've consistantly made extravagant or outlandish statements on this thread but ive yet too see you back it up with any kind of literature that confirms your claims
  7. While were talkin about immigrants bleeding us dry on the tax system,i see the queen and prince philip are getting 300 million to rewire buck palace....
  8. So you call people names who do not agree with your view because you think theyre side of the arguement is fundamentally flawed... Thats no justification is it.. There are ways to put your point across and remain civil. By being aggressive in your assertions you do yourself no favours by portraying yourself in such a negative manner. As for the migrant on minimum wage, would you prefer that migrant to be better off financialy by claiming benefits or send them back home to a country where there are no oppertunities to gain employment or feed there families. Your lack of compassion astounds me...
  9. You have a opinion just as everyone else has,but why do you insist on calling anyone who opposes your views morons or some other derogatory name. Why cant you express yourself without sinking to silly name calling...? It doesnt lend itself to an adult exchange of opinions or a decent debate on a very important subject that will affect us all.
  10. Are people still climbing on prussiks...not that im knocking it,its basic, functional and works but its hugley unergonomic and hard on the body. Mechanical friction devices coupled with ascenders are way more efficient and will prolong your career as well as up your productivity. Amen...
  11. I worked in hotels for a long time (12 years) as a chef. Most of the low paid jobs such as housekeeping, kitchen porter and bar staff were made up of 90 % immigrants the other 10% was teenagers who lasted a week and got bored of the menial tasks and crap wages. My point is not all immigrants are workshy, benefit chasing wasters like some would like us to believe. My sister works in the NHS where there is a high population of foreign born staff, again doing a difficult job for low pay. When we leave the EU will these jobs be filled by our own nationals....i really doubt it-what brit wants to clean crap to earn crap wages
  12. Me thinks your wasting your time mate. Its well known to all the brexiters that anyone who is pro EU is a whinging leftie who cuddles immigrants, kisses Jeremy Corbins arse and smells of wee. Dont let facts get in the way of a good arguement now...
  13. You seem to revel in the fact that UK has the best performing economy in 2016 even though all us idiots voted to stay in the E U. The fact is were STILL IN THE EU and thats contibuted to us having a successful econony. Like i said before lets not judge our situation until weve actually left the EU
  14. Sounds like someone is pulling your pisser
  15. It is but people like to talk/argue/exchange views on lots of subjects. The long winter nights just fly by....
  16. Manbag...room for wedges, log tongs, sandwiches and lipstick too! Plus you'll look forest fresh faaabulous You go girl
  17. Im no expert but i always prune back to the next growth point. If there is a timescale in place to return too the tree then id say leave the stubs to see how they well heal. Re-assess on your next visit and cut back where necessary. Interestingly i read a story lately of a tree surgeon who was removing a limb over a highway for his LA and the TO insisted on leaving a 5 meter stub with a view to return to the stub in 12 months to reduce again.
  18. very good
  19. Know anyone with jack russells? 2 jack russells can clear a barn in half an hour...amazingly brutal to watch
  20. Premature to say this..they havent triggered article 50 yet. Lets wait and see where we are in a years time
  21. Happy burns night paul that haggis looks amazing, enjoy a wee dram too
  22. Sorry the last post is for wes d
  23. It looks rough but it works well with pantin foot asceder and zigzag. Its just a croll chest ascender used as a knee ascender, attached footloop(an old tool strop) and some bunjee cord which attaches to the biner at the bottom of the zz
  24. I think the problem is because his bridge is sitting too high he was pulling it through from under rather than pushing it through from above as he wants it. Ive used the same system on zigzag as your picture just using a prussik loop girth hitched onto bottom biner in zz allowing to be pulled from underneath. I dont use it now as i made a haas for long ascents Its good when the rope gets heavy enough allowing the rope to be pushed through from above aswell
