  5. U shouldn't have any trouble running a normal 3/8 42" with a full skip chain, mate does on his 660 no issues. Would defo recommend using full skip tho And then get a lopro set up for milling, 42 would be fine Run the saw in before going straight into killing tho a bit

  15. favourite saw of the lot, would be the 1 saw i'd keep if i had to get rid of the others i use it with 20 or 25 bar, then 661 for anything bigger have just put on a full wrap and a straight shot muffler
  16. Have never seen any in the flesh but we'll see... I have a pcp should the need arise 👍
  17. OK thanks both Will get some poison out and watch the bags and go from there!
  18. As the tille suggests, I'm sure there was a thread but I can't find it Where I store my logs, there is signs of rats or mice but wondered if they do eat the bags? I keep the bags on pallets Appreciate if anyone has had the issue to say so I know if it's something to worry about! Cheers
  19. has nobody looked at the date today? 😅

    Chainsaw

you would notice a little difference but not much, mains saws have tons of torque but not the chain speed of a petrol and chain speed is what makes the bigger difference if your talking 'performance' a smaller bar makes a bigger difference on a petrol saw as you are driving less chain with the same amount of torque so more torque per inch of bar which in turn would help u keep the chain speed up so a quicker cut it's the differences between torque and power, 2 different things so to answer your question, probably not worth changing
  22. For everyone that wanted a 500i full wrap over here, it's now possible Just got mine from @shavey So for everyone else that's after one, send Andrew a message and he'll sort you out Great guy, great service 👍

  23. Unless u actually need a 881 to use for big milling, I'd probably stick with 661 The 881 is completely different to the 880, however it's still a big arse saw to start and use, but the power and torque isn't like any other saw I had a 881, its a great saw
  24. Hello, I’m in the process of ordering some of these mufflers over and have space for another 5, they work out around £70 including delivery plus duty, but duty will be split out between all the mufflers to reduce the cost Available for the below saws; 084 362 440 460 461 462 500i 650 660 066 661 034 036 360 Reviews say are a lot better build quality and better performance than the bark box - there was a thread about this the other day Please PM me if you want one ASAP - as these will be popular! Thanks
