    Husqvarna 550

would i be right in saying a 261 would probably be more reliable tho!! don't get me wrong, i do have a 560 however, since converting me 261 to run a 16" on picco and done a muffler mod, i pick it up rather than the 560 and that's running a 562 air filter and muffler mod on a 15"
  2. Sold the digger and I've found something so we'll see what happens!! ?
  3. pls mill as much of that butt as u can! looks like there is some spalting in there
  4. cheers, it'll be just over 20k inc vat which is a bit outside budget atm!!
  5. Yeh that could be the better option thanks Gotta do the polite thing and offer it on here first!!! But yeh, if any does fancy a deal Let me know ?
  6. As title suggests, anyone thinking of selling one, ideally an avant, pls let me know If interested in a part ex with cash my way for my takeuchi tb016 with 2943 hrs new dipper end, pins, bushes and shims, 3 buckets PM me Cheers
  7. best way to explain a 500i is to imagine a saw that picks up and cuts like a 560 but is 80cc
  8. had a 462 owner and lover on a job and he now wants a 500i having used one biggest thing i love is you've got an 80cc saw which weighs the same as much as a 60cc 560
  9. The milling king is back Best work as always mate Proper job that ?
  10. yup, they are a nice saw i can't see how you'd blow a nose would go if they make small bars to fit the small saws. may not last quite as long maybe, i dunno i used to run a 21" on my 880 currently run a 16" 3/8 picco on my 261 along with a muffler mod, that's v fast and i often pick it up rather than my 560 and that's on a 15
  11. i have a 16 that fits mine it's unbalanced but fun and quick normally just run 20 on 500
  12. roughhewn told me to never get anything other than a stihl one
  13. There is a difference but not worth what you'll save Lower resale value too as noone wants them! My ifor has electric tip and also manual if needs ever be
  14. The effort it's takes to pump it is the same an emptying the trailer by hand Just save up a bit more and get an electric tip Such useful things
  15. stihl defo do the better heated handles IMO, 460 handles were the best, wish i'd never sold that saw! 560 handles are so hot you have to turn em off to cool down
  16. got the link to that crane pls? or it something you've put together
  17. External oil boiler Air source is only really any good in modern properties with loads of insulation and triple glazing etc Also, the cost will be more than oil Maintenance is more Parts aren't quite so readily available and spares are more than oil
  18. no that's lowestoft best view of lowestoft is in your rearview mirror as your driving out the place
  19. There is a place in Aldeburgh Suffolk that you can get damaged ones for £5 each ?? Sometimes come with a wooden pallet on the bottom
  20. what i've done before is give them your bank details, get them to put £1 in a day or so before collection, so u can confirm to them it's come in, then do rest of payment on collection also, if they've paid you before, the payment on collection should pretty much go straight into your account within not many minutes (sunday's can take longer)
  21. it's capped at £250 so max it'll cost you is that
  22. they are never gonna be like a small saw to start, they are a bitch! and they don't sing as such either, they just sorta plod through whatever u wanna cut however, they do make u feel rather manly
  23. No idea mate but u r gonna struggle to get one from a dealer now I should imagine I've asked Reply was 'gold dust' Not gonna be cheap realistically
  24. Quick, someone is selling another 4 new ones on ebay They won't be on there long at all
