  1. Has anyone tried the above rope. Looking to get some in the black Friday sale Any reviews, good or bad would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. Three Yew trees reduced by 1.5m from top and around 1m from the sides. Didn't get to wet.
  3. The truck, crane and head are costing £270k. I am hoping to charge £1500/day. Where are you based.
  4. I wonder what the day rate will be to hire him in with that machine. I read somewhere that it's costing around £350,000. You could get a tree on the ground very quickly with that setup.
  5. That and also I have since learn that you need to also wash the washing machine out as an washing detergent left in the machine will also affect the waterproofing.
  6. Will you use the flywheel from the Evo 165 on the quad chip with the 26hp diesel.
  7. Will the quad chip also be discontinued once the stage 4 engines run out that are in stock.
  8. The Evo looks a very well thought-out chipper and looks to have been designed to work around the new legalisation with diesel engines. I don't think that it matters that the engine is only 25hp as I remember using a Schliesing woodchipper that was 6inch but only had a 3-cylinder 23 horsepower kubota engine and that being a brilliant chipper.
  9. Really like the look of the greenmech and would also be interested in any reviews on the chipper.
  10. Always had a cabstar but unfortunately Nissan has stopped making them so will have a look at the Isuzu truck. When I pulled alone side one the other day everything looked to be that little bit bigger then my cabstar.
  11. What 3.5t truck would people say were built to take more weight then what they were plated at. Unfortunately most of the time we are all driving overloaded but it would be good to have a truck that is within its safe working limit, to take an extra ton even if it is not legal. Does anyone know if the Isuzu 3.5 ton tipper is such a truck.
  12. Not a bad thing to say about them.
  13. Got a cut and climb and was good until I washed it and then it just started to let the water in. Got a SIP Protection KEIU Rain Jacket 3 years ago which has never been in the wash and still keeps the rain out. Have also got the KEIU rain trousers which are also really good. Funny with the cut and climb jacket that some people say it's bomb proof and will keep you dry while others say it lets the water in and not worth the money.
  14. If you go down the power pack option I have a 22 ton splitter that has had very little use. PM if interested.
  15. I personally think that the battery range of trimmers now on the market are far superior to the motorised ones. Cordless chainsaws are getting better each year.
  16. Just starting to move all saws over to aspen but unfortunately my little 150 does not seem idle, no matter how I tune it but if I put in pump fuel it runs fine again. Could anyone shed some light on the problem. Thanks in advance
  17. Cs100 would be a great long-term investment and hold their money very well.
  18. If you have a hitch climber set up go for the rope wrench as the only additional thing you need is a stiff tether. I use the zigzag with the rope wrench with a steel tether I got from America before the chicane came out and have to say the Zigzag works great on SRT.
  19. It's easier to phone to place your order.
  20. Try this company, they are a copy of greenteeth but are half the price and I found them to last twice as long. QRMS Ltd Only downside is your teeth pockets wear slightly faster as they are a bit smaller in diameter.
  21. I was wondering if anyone had used the wearsharp greenteeth and if they found that they lasted longer then the regular greenteeth. Thanks
  22. Thanks for the reply. When I did my research it seem that there was no real saving once accountancy bills have been taking into consideration.
