  1. I've seen the fuller version of this before, it's an odd one, it's like he felled the stick expecting the crane to catch it, rather than a lift. I don't know much about crane work, but I'm pretty sure it's not done like that. The rest of the vid is just nonsense.
  2. Looks like mine, I keep it on the same rope as a mini felling lever.
  3. Not too bad for England, Russia, Slovakia and Wales. Could have been worse. The two Irelands have a job on, especially The Republic.
  4. I reckon you'll do better with a grab and no chipper, get them to get it roadside, then stuff it in the back, trunk, brash, logs and all.
  5. I've said it before, when you need one you need one.

Happens a lot on my FB feed. (Not those two but other couples)
  7. So not interested in posting a photo of this or anything else John? Fair enough.
  8. Would you like to post a picture? We can do it tonight if you like, once you've done it once it'll be easy. What are you using computer wise?
  9. I can't help feeling I'd be a bit peed off if I worked at/owned HBs reading this post.
  10. Ash I presume, im sure someone can identify the bracket fungi. Don't worry, it'll come back, or it won't. All good anyway.
  11. Doesn't your Krab clip onto metal rings on your harness? Cross loading thing isn't an issue, it's only for light rigging, or put a half hitch in front.
  12. Good for you, little fellas could use a hand. Last year's whilst driving along a country road I happened across a hedgehog struggling along entangled in green netting that gets used in gardens. I popped him in the truck, got him home and managed to cut it off the exhausted creature. I put him in the corner of the garden, cracked an egg and put it under his nose then left him alone. Went back 20 minutes later, the egg was eaten up and he had slipped away. I also blew a mole to pieces with my "detauper" that afternoon so it's swings and roundabouts for nature with me I guess!
  13. I've refined it a bit by using an ordinary Krab instead of a fixed eye one as the "running Krab" I found it runs better for remote choking.
  14. Pull up your trousers, wipe away the tears, know for next time. A deals a deal.
  15. It's what inspired it, August did a road test vid on it a while back.
  16. Here's one for you Darrin, well nearly dead anyway..
  17. I recently topped some young lombardies at extension ladder height, maybe 4 meters. Climbed up, stropped in, topped 'em. There was a chance the ladder might have taken a whack, but hey ho. The job had enough money on it to lose a ladder.
  18. My connection to Yeovil. They once drew Horsham in the FA cup maybe in 2002, I went with some mates. On a Wednesday night they beat Horsham 2.0. I was astonished at the maybe 250 Yeovillians who had come up from the West Country on a Wednesday night to watch a game of amateur footy.
  19. I dunno John, planted immediately after the build, put some more in, no biggy.
  20. Exactly what mine did! Put it in the vice, et voila! 70€ for a new 'un
