  1. There’s a robinia around somewhere, possibly recently cut down. The form on that tree is unlike most GWs I’ve seen.
  2. Mines not quite the same model, but similar shape. Nothing to worry about by the looks of it!
  3. I assume the height of the stump is to make the demonstration and test easier. I suppose the leaf blowing and operating a walk behind lawnmower thing is a bit of a joke, but as for the rest of it, forklifts, telehandlers, chippers etc. I can’t see how some very basic instruction can hurt.
  4. Nothing wrong with lazy (up to a point) lazy gets you working out how to do a job quicker and with less effort.
  5. Here’s a Tee available on a FB site, imagine wanting to wear this
  6. There are winches available for the MO but they’re slow and not as powerful. The hydraulic drives on the wheels are the much vaunted Poclain (at least much vaunted by MO) it really has incredible pull, add in the telescopic boom as extra and you’ve got a lot of persuasive power for backleaners and stuff. I don’t do a lot of genuine forestry type work.
  7. No, he said (first) ’where were these people?’
  8. I was going to keep it, just for the winch, but now I have a flail and logsplitter for the MO it has to go. It is too much money just sitting there. My BIL has ‘bought’ it (waiting to sell his) so it’s effectively sold. I will keep the winch and look out for a cheaper older tractor to put it on. I advertised it in the UK with all the gubbins, got a lot of internet tyre kickers.
  9. Tirfor will be very very very slow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wXP5EdkR9o Petrol powered winches are handy looking, but if you’ve got no money..
  10. Valuable money wise (cost) or in the sense that it makes money?
  11. Yes Stu, not going to dig too deep for a back up. Did not know know that about post 2012 stuff, thanks.
  12. Scarce Swallowtail on Verbena
  13. A chance to enjoy again...
