  1. Customers often ask me this question, I always say “we can find out exactly if you like”
  2. That’s a big lump to neg rig, nice job.
  3. This BLM shit has gone too far. Watching the BBC going on about this plane in Burnley like it was a big deal. What did the banner say that was so offensive exactly? Its exactly what happens when you ram this bollocks too far down people’s throats, they see it for what it is push back against it. It is like a competition to see who can look the most virtuous, a bit like the clap for carers palaver which ended up with people accusing other streets/people of not clapping hard enough. It was getting like the cultural revolution in China. Whats next? I reckon it’s transgender rights, it’s the latest thing where we are being gaslit into thinking day is night, dogs are cats and you are cancelled if you point out the facts. You have to toe the line, wear the badge, repeat the mantra, put the appropriate thing up on social media. A school where my nephew and niece go has cancelled naming a wing after JK Rowling because of her ‘transphobic’ comments. All she did was point out that using the word ‘menstruators’ to describe biological women was stupid. Then wrote a considered piece about the whole issue, in which I challenge anyone to find anything ‘transphobic’ (get used to that word btw) Morning all anyway.
  4. Red oak has smooth bark, at least younger trees do.
  5. Not for red oak, I think the stuff with the lichen on is it.
  6. There are red oak leaves on the floor there.
  7. Well tbh I’ve never done it, but it sounds like it’ll work (on someone else’s insurance policy)
  8. Explain. You've already got the licence to tow more so what difference does 3/400kg make?
  9. Tractor tires with other tires inside.
  10. Why not get a bigger one, what’s the point of a 6” inch tracked chipper? A bigger one isn’t any more expensive.
  11. Cherry, sweet chestnut, pear and sycamore. Or thereabouts.
  12. Why would you think they’re all skint?
  13. Just had a look at mine, it’s as you say. As I understand it it arrived in the updates, mines off as a default setting. I think in Norway there was some fuss about it and it got taken off @Rich Rule posted something about it somewhere. Conspiracy theorists will cry foul, but they can track you anyway if they want.
  14. Lovely tribute to Vera Lynn, who died earlier today.
  15. So what? You can’t enact policy in opposition. Corbyn blew it, Brexit policy, IRA, Dianne Abbot all added up. Party politics is rough and tumble, look at the stick May and BJ and Cameron get/got.
  16. Just the bones of it, media conspiracy, fifth columnists in the party etc.
  17. Yeah well, whatever it took, it was worth it.
  18. Link doesn’t work. Edit, sorry it does.
  19. I think that’s an elm leaf. It is deciduous anyway.
  20. What’s it smell like? Conifer or deciduous?
  21. Last year I noticed the same thing here in south west France, after years of it getting worse and earlier, there was very little sign. Some trees this year seem free so far, others less so.
  22. Here’s a Tree of Heaven I trimmed last year, came out nicely I think.
