  1. Husky 395xp, not been started for at least 6 months. All this stuff about mixed petrol going off in weeks is bullshit. Excuse the heavy breathing, heavy head cold, so off work. IMG_0231.MOV
  2. How do I wheedle the blue plastic off? Just a screwdriver and twist?
  3. Kirsty and Phil to be made to do the walk of atonement to the Red Keep. The Post Office utterly blown to smithereens. Old people in chemists to instantly clear out of the way for young virile men who need their Paracetamol/Nurofen for their hangovers. This is to be signaled by the shout “taxpayer in pain, out the way you coffin dodgers!” All other languages to be banned in all forms, only English to be spoken worldwide.
  4. Smash everything, dismantle all government control. Return to living as hunter gatherers, start breeding Pugs and Tibetan terriers for bitey missiles than you can put in a trebuchet at incoming marauders. Introduce intelligent monkeys to mainland Britain teach them how to use bows and arrows, then start a war with them just for shits and giggles. The only motorised vehicle allowed is a Hillman Hunter estate. When I think of other ways to makes things better I’ll post them.
  5. So the ironing out of a few issues continues. I had an electronic issue linked to the big stop button on the top sorted, then complete loss of power, so I took it back and he fiddled with a relay on the left hand side of the motor (looking backwards) said it was poorly attached or something. Then this starts, instead of the stress control stopping the rollers they reverse for a second. Any ideas @Jase hutch @Pete B or anyone?
  6. Yes, go back to previous cuts, and yes, now is good.
  7. It’s entirely possible he will be acquitted, he may well have done nothing wrong. A strange arrogant twerp he certainly is, another thing he is (until proven otherwise) is not guilty.
  8. Here it is, the first arrow points to the stop itself, the second to the piece that couples with it to, well, stop it. this is taken from the side of the machine with the grab in (or nearly) in ‘toucan’ position
  9. Lifting capacity, whilst important, isn’t the be all and end all, an operator with some experience can move a piece of wood or drag a branch from a to b using different methods. In Arb very little is known weight, if it lifts it, it gets lifted.
  10. In your situation I would just take the chain to a shop and get a new one (or two)
  11. No it can’t rotate infinitely, only to 90 degrees (the Klou fixed grab) The BMG knockabout seen earlier in the thread will turn till the hoses pinch.
  12. No, it’s not. It has 3 locked positions, but these two mostly, and can be used ‘free’ IMG_0908.MOV
  13. @jwl28 as it goes I now run a Klou grab 99% of the time, I find it better, not at everything, but overall a better tool. IMG_1590.MOV
  14. Yawn. Try giving yourself 5 days of not ranting about it, or even a day, see if that helps. Once you break the cycle you may find it easier.
  15. Have a break, you’re a victim as well, you’ve literally gone mental over this thing. Frothing at the mouth morning, noon and night on here. Saying the same old shit all day every day for months.
  16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fjC3zQu9ds I’ve been about a bit.
  17. Most anywhere in the UK will test your skills in lowering through telephone lines, over greenhouses and flowerbeds and negotiating dogshit filled gardens, no parking and wanker clients. If you can spend one full year in London, doing all that, then you’re ready for anything.
  18. Depends on what sort of tree surgery you like doing, if you enjoy fiddle farting around on the ends of branches to remove a couple of feet then I’d say major conurbations in the UK should be your destination. If it’s up/down conifers, negative rigging and getting wet then the north west coast of North America is calling.
